  • Patent number: 10008126
Abstract: A training aid for an athletic movement comprises: an EMG acquisition device for placement on a muscle of a user. The training aid is configured to: identify an acquired set of EMG signals generated during the movement from muscles in two different appendages; divide the set of EMG signals into a sequence of smaller time intervals; compare the placement in the smaller time intervals of peak EMG signals in the acquired set of EMG signals to a reference criteria; identify whether the acquired EMG signals satisfy or does not satisfy the reference criteria during the movement. A set of movements are displayed, such that a displayed movement is matched to acquired EMG signals during one of the smaller time intervals, and the movements are displayed with an indication of which move or moves are wrong based on whether the EMG signals matched with the movement, satisfies the reference criteria.

  • Patent number: 9155487
Abstract: Biometric assessment is performed by use of electromyography (EMG) signals detected from muscles at several locations on the hand/or other part of the body subject to fine motor control. In addition, electroencephalography (EEG), signals detect other biomarkers. The EMG and EEG signals are sensed, synchronized and registered. The signals are converted into digital data and are stored and processed for use in performing the biometric assessment.

  • Publication number: 20030131245
Abstract: An approach for secure application-to-application communication over the Internet uses a combination of application message interception, centralized policy management, and generic secure data connectivity layer for applications. Intercepting messages at an application layer enables use of application-specific security policies prior to the messages for different applications merging at lower levels of a communication protocol stack, and enables securing of the application messages as early as possible in the path to a peer application. The centralized policy management enables enforcement of security policies on multiple computers, both within and outside and enterprise network and protects against circumvention of security features specified by the policies.
