    Abstract: A case assembly selectively encases and displays a mobile communications device. The case assembly includes or incorporates a segmented cradle assembly configured to adjustably cradle variously sized mobile communications devices. The segmented cradle assembly includes an anterior panel, a posterior panel, and a plurality of device-holding cradle segments. Each device-holding cradle segment includes a panel-opposing portion and a device-cradling portion. The anterior panel is spaced from the posterior panel, and the panel-opposing portions are loosely sandwiched intermediate the anterior panel and the posterior panel. The panel-opposing portions are further attached to the panels by way of an elastic tether member. The cradle segments are displaceable relative to the panels and to one another via the elastic tether members for varying a distance between the device-holding cradle segments thereby being adjustable for receiving and cradling variously sized mobile communications devices.

The accessory access window is of sufficient dimension to receive a charger device with a device diameter that fits within the window. A number of accessories, in addition to a charger device, are attachable to the mobile communications device via the accessory access window. Certain exemplary accessories include a cover panel, a wallet accessory, and a vehicular mount mechanism. At least one secondary body formation may be affixed to the primary device-receiving body formation as an outer skin thereof.

    Abstract: An apparatus and a method are provided for a material spreader controller to meter particulate material flowing out of a discharge outlet of a hopper. The material spreader controller is comprised of a housing that receives a control cable from the discharge outlet. A control lever operatively coupled with the control cable may be pulled by a practitioner to adjust the discharge outlet from a completely closed position to an adjusted open position. A control knob enables the practitioner to selectively limit operation of the control lever. Upon turning the control knob, the practitioner may select a degree to which pulling the control lever opens the discharge outlet, thereby limiting the adjusted open position of the discharge outlet. The control knob may be indexed to indicate the position of the control knob relative to a selection indicator on the housing.
