Patent number: 12141834Abstract: Systems, programs, non-transitory computer readable mediums, and methods of managing multiple and concurrent online advertising campaigns to eliminate user fatigue are disclosed. In particular, a campaign management server generates multiple target lists of users from a data warehouse for a plurality of pre-defined online advertising campaigns. The users on the target lists are selected to receive electronic communications, such as email or text, containing advertisements based upon target profiles associated with the campaigns as determined by marketing objectives. The advertising campaigns are prioritized such that users on a target list of a higher prioritized campaign are suppressed from lower prioritized campaigns in order to insure that the users receive a predetermined number of electronic communications within a set time frame.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2021Date of Patent: November 12, 2024Assignee: Overstock.com, Inc.Inventors: Bradford Hardy Johnson, Michael David Breitenbeker, Joshua Lloyd Selleneit, Jessica Leigh Hughes, Catherine Diaz

Patent number: 12130624Abstract: The present disclosure provides autonomous vehicle systems and methods that include or otherwise leverage a motion planning system that generates constraints as part of determining a motion plan for an autonomous vehicle (AV). In particular, a scenario generator within a motion planning system can generate constraints based on where objects of interest are predicted to be relative to an autonomous vehicle. A constraint solver can identify navigation decisions for each of the constraints that provide a consistent solution across all constraints. The solution provided by the constraint solver can be in the form of a trajectory path determined relative to constraint areas for all objects of interest. The trajectory path represents a set of navigation decisions such that a navigation decision relative to one constraint doesn't sacrifice an ability to satisfy a different navigation decision relative to one or more other constraints.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2022Date of Patent: October 29, 2024Assignee: AURORA OPERATIONS, INC.Inventors: Michael Lee Phillips, Don Burnette, Kalin Vasilev Gochev, Somchaya Liemhetcharat, Harishma Dayanidhi, Eric Michael Perko, Eric Lloyd Wilkinson, Colin Jeffrey Green, Wei Liu, Anthony Joseph Stentz, David Mcallister Bradley, Samuel Philip Marden

Patent number: 12133043Abstract: A head-worn sound reproduction device is provided in the form of left and right earphones, which can either be clipped to each ear or mounted on other headgear. The earphones deliver high fidelity audio to a user's eardrums from near-ear range, in a lightweight form factor that is fully “non-blocking” (allows coupling in and natural hearing of ambient sound). Each earphone has a woofer component that produces bass frequencies, and a tweeter component that produces treble frequencies. The woofer outputs the bass frequencies from a position close to the ear canal, while the tweeter outputs treble frequencies from a position that is either close to the ear canal or further away. In certain embodiments, the tweeter is significantly further from the ear canal than the woofer, leading to a more expansive perceived “sound stage”, but still with a “pure” listening experience.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 2023Date of Patent: October 29, 2024Assignee: Magic Leap, Inc.Inventors: Brian Lloyd Schmidt, David Thomas Roach, Michael Z. Publication number: 20240330627Abstract: A system and method utilizes a machine readable garment identification tag at a first station to enter information on the specific garment into a computer system. The garment data from the garment identification tag is assigned to a garment identifier which is printed or formed on a hanger neck sleeve member. The hanger neck sleeve member provides a consistent scan point through all the subsequent sorting stations in the system. This eliminates the need to search for the position of the garment tag to scan in sort stations subsequent to the initial station. Each hanger neck sleeve member has a machine readable code that is assigned to the associated garment and is placed on the neck of the hanger for that garment. The position of the hanger neck sleeve member on the neck of the hanger makes it readily accessible and readable, significantly more so than the garment tag in these regards.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 26, 2024Publication date: October 3, 2024Inventors: Tomas Attalla, Gary Ernest Blattner, Mark Andrew Bolen, Robert Fulton Cotter, Chadwick A. Featherly, Michael Lloyd Greenig, Michael Lawrence Thompson

Patent number: 11616719Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, a sticky canary router routes each request associated with a service to either a canary cluster of servers that implement a modification to the service or a baseline cluster of servers that do not implement the modification. The sticky canary router implements a mapping algorithm that determines the routing of each request based on a current time, a time window for the routing, and a characteristic of the request. Notably, the mapping algorithm may be implemented such that, for time segments with duration equal to the time window, the sticky canary router routes all requests received from a particular device in a consistent fashion—either to the canary cluster or to a baseline cluster. Configured thusly, the sticky canary router enables the analysis of approximately full sections of client interactions with the canary servers, thereby facilitating identification of client-side effects of the changes.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2015Date of Patent: March 28, 2023Assignee: NETFLIX, INCInventor: Michael Lloyd Cohen
