  • Publication number: 20240060813
Abstract: A system of improved weighing utilizes accelerometers to compensate for measurement dynamics and non-level sensor orientation. Fill level of remote combines can be estimated by utilizing their historical harvesting performance and elapsed time or area harvested. Failure and degradation of weight sensors is detected by testing sensor half bridges. Loading and unloading weights can be tied to specific vehicles by utilizing RF beacons. Display location diversity is enhanced utilizing a mirror located as necessary while reversing the displayed image.

  • Patent number: 9845123
Abstract: A modular electric vehicle system, allowing for the assembly of many different vehicle configurations using a plurality of interchangeable vehicle assembly modules, including at least two powered vehicle assembly modules in an assembled vehicle each of which has self-contained drive and power systems and controls which can be connected together by a central network bus on the vehicle. At least one of the powered vehicle assembly modules will be a steering module, with the necessary additional controls and components to steer the axle thereon and in turn steer the assembled vehicle. The connection of the network bus and the modules would be done in an interchangeable way so that different modules could be interchangeably placed in the assembled vehicle. Various steering systems, control methodologies and vehicle attachments are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20140343723
Abstract: An electric drive apparatus for attachment to a swing away auger assembly includes a bracket and drive wheel adapted to be attached to the assembly and configured to pivot an attached swing auger. An electric drive motor rotates the drive wheel, and a control circuit assembly is connected to the electric drive motor by drive wires. The control circuit assembly is operative to activate the electric drive motor in response to forward, stop, and reverse drive signals received from a remote control unit. The control circuit is mounted to a heat sink plate such that heat generated in the control circuit assembly is conducted to the heat sink plate, and the heat sink plate forms an external wall of a circuit housing enclosing the control circuit assembly. The circuit housing is sealed. A bin spill prevention system has a sensor that shuts a discharge gate directing material into the conveyor.
