  • Publication number: 20260085768
Abstract: A valve for a valve system, with a valve housing and a fluid channel formed in the valve housing, extending between an inlet connection and an outlet connection, in which a valve member is linearly movable along a movement axis between a first functional position and a second functional position. The valve member is provided with a permanent magnet and is coupled in motion to a drive associated with the valve housing. A magnetic field sensor for detecting a position of the valve member is arranged in the valve housing for detecting a position of the valve member, in which a shielding plate is arranged on a side surface of the valve housing at the level of the permanent magnet in order to reduce a magnetic flux density provided by the permanent magnet in a space adjacent to the side surface outside the valve housing.

  • Publication number: 20220349865
Abstract: An apparatus for in-line monitoring of nitrite content in a metalworking fluid is provided, the apparatus comprising a sample inlet for receiving a sample of a metalworking fluid, a dilution inlet for receiving a dilution fluid, a reagent inlet for receiving a photoactive reagent, a reaction volume for containing a sample mixture in fluid communication with the sample inlet, dilution inlet and reagent inlet, a photometer for monitoring the sample mixture, and a flow control system for controlling fluid flow in the apparatus, to: selectively introduce the sample, the dilution fluid and/or the photoactive reagent from the respective inlets to the reaction volume to form the sample mixture, retain the sample mixture in the reaction volume and discharge the sample mixture from the reaction volume.

  • Publication number: 20120195786
Abstract: An apparatus and method for producing spheroidal metal particles having high size and shape uniformity from a melt from a highly reactive metal melt, with the following steps: melting the metal starting material under a hermetic seal; transporting the metal melt in a closed granulating tube from the melting furnace to at least one melt outlet; discharging the metal from the metal outlet via a rotary plate in the form of discrete drops to a melt stream which disintegrates into drops by the time it strikes the rotary plate; conducting a shielding gas flow into the region of the melt exiting from the melt outlet, collecting the melt on the rotary plate in the form of discrete melt drop, solidifying the melt drops into granule particles by contact with the colder surface of the rotary plate, and conducting the granule particles off the rotary plate for packaging/further processing.
