Publication number: 20240161180Abstract: Methods and systems for connecting short term rental with distributed infrastructure are provided. According to one example, a server maintains access to a plurality of property data contracts on a decentralized blockchain ledger, each property data contract associated with a real property in a locale and a cancellation policy data contract. The server receives a booking data operation including a cryptocurrency transaction and a cryptocurrency address and verifies the booking data operation relative to the cancellation policy contract. Responsive to the verifying, the server approves the booking data operation, processes the cryptocurrency transaction, and updates the decentralized blockchain ledger. After the booking data operation has been approved, the server runs a token data operation to provide a token to the cryptocurrency address associated with the user electronic device.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 15, 2022Publication date: May 16, 2024Inventors: Jason Terry Coates, Oliver Coates Gonzalez, Michael Lorenzo Cecchini

Patent number: 11890785Abstract: The present invention provides an environmentally-friendly, fully recyclable composite mining screen which has sufficient rigidity to replace existing metal and metal covered plastic mining screens. The inventive composite screen insert contains stiff reinforcing fibers (glass, carbon, etc.) and exhibits the rigidity of metal and metal-covered plastic mining screen inserts so as to minimize deflection in use. The inventive mining screen is also completely recyclable because at the end of its useful life, the broken and used screen can be ground into polymer particles and the particles incorporated into new screens or other parts.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2019Date of Patent: February 6, 2024Assignee: COVESTRO LLCInventors: Michael Lorenzo, Jean Paul Rodrigues

Publication number: 20230406420Abstract: A multi-panel skirt system for a flatbed includes two pair of forward and aft skirt panels with each pair located on an opposite lateral sides of the flatbed. In each pair, the forward skirt panel extends along the lateral side edge generally in the lengthwise direction between a leading edge and a trailing edge, which is located adjacent to and aligned with or positioned laterally inboard of the lateral side edge of the flatbed. An aft skirt panel extends along the lateral side edge generally in the lengthwise direction between a leading edge and a trailing edge aft of the forward skirt panel, which trailing edge is located adjacent to and aligned with or positioned laterally inboard of the lateral side edge. The leading edge of the aft skirt panel is positioned laterally inboard of the trailing edge of the forward skirt panel.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 25, 2023Publication date: December 21, 2023Inventors: Semir KAPETANOVIC, Nathan David SEE, Michael Lorenzo HENDERSON

Patent number: 10787207Abstract: A nose fairing for a cargo enclosure may generally include a nose body configured to extend outwardly from a front wall of the enclosure. The nose body may include an upper nose wall, a lower nose wall and a leading edge region extending between the upper and lower nose walls. The upper nose wall may include a concave region that terminates at the leading edge region such that the nose fairing transitions directly from the concave region of the upper nose wall to the leading edge region. The lower nose wall may include a convex region that terminates at the leading edge region such that the nose fairing transitions directly from the convex region of the lower nose wall to the leading edge region. The leading edge region may define a radius of curvature that differs from a radius of curvature of the convex region of the lower nose wall.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 2018Date of Patent: September 29, 2020Assignee: TRANSTEX LLCInventors: Michael Lorenzo Henderson, Stephen Alfred Wulff
