Abstract: The table top portion of the patio deck extension is aligned in a row with spaces between the 4 major slats and is secured at the bottom with cross members to form a base. The sides are then mounted around the perimeter. The angled support stabilizers are mounted to the cross members on the bottom of the deck extensions platform then attached to the existing deck uprights (Ballasts). All parts are secured using screws of various lengths. The purpose of this invention is to create additional deck space; it allows the home owner to use the patio deck extension to aid in storing, servicing and entertaining without infringing on their existing deck space.
