  • Publication number: 20070201761
Abstract: A computer implemented method of processing an image for display on a mobile communication device includes extracting a portion of an image based on an image map. The image map relates to the portion of the image. The method also includes generating a document that comprises the extracted portion of the image and transmitting the generated document to a remote device for display. The method may also include assigning a selectable link to the extracted portion of the image and receiving a request from the remote device for an initial document having the image and image map. Additionally, the method may include storing in a database the generated document and transmitting the stored generated document in response to future requests for the initial document.

  • Publication number: 20070073650
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for providing hypertext content to a mobile device may include obtaining a network-accessible electronic document that has content and an image, advertising material, or a plurality of similarly formatted hyperlinks. The network-accessible electronic document may be reformatted by collapsing the image, the advertising material, or the plurality of similarly formatted hyperlinks into a first expandable display element. The first expandable display element and at least a portion of the content may be provided for display in a first page on the mobile device. The method may further include receiving input that selects the first expandable display element. The first expandable display element may be reformatted into an image, advertising material, or a plurality of hyperlinks. The image, the advertising material or the plurality of hyperlinks may be provided, along with at least a portion of the content, for display in a second page on the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 7059194
Abstract: The invention involves a pressure fault device for indicating a threshold pressure or a threshold differential pressure. The present invention provides a cost effective way to determine where a pressure problem has occurred. The device includes a housing having at least one inlet aperture and an indicator aperture and having first and second bores in fluid communication respectively with one inlet aperture and the indicator aperture. The device further includes a magnetic piston which is biased in the first bore toward one inlet aperture and moveable a predetermined distance in another direction in the first bore in response to inlet threshold pressure. The device further includes a magnetic responder which is moveable toward the indicator aperture in the second bore in response to movement of the magnetic piston. The device further includes a latching plate in magnetic relationship to the magnetic responder when the piston moves the predetermined distance.

  • Publication number: 20050216256
Abstract: A configurable formatting system and method for generating a desired representation of an expression within a word list includes a dictionary database, a working list module, a formatting module, and a configuration file. The dictionary database stores categories containing words and translation rules. The configuration file contains variants to the contents of the categories of the dictionary database and is used to overwrite those in the dictionary database at startup. The working list module is used to read a word from the word list and to determine whether the word is associated with the expression. If so the word is inserted into a word list. The word list is processed when a word is read that is associated with the termination of the expression. The formatting module processes the words from the working list and generates the desired representation of the expression from the working list.

  • Publication number: 20050080633
Abstract: An audio processing system and method for providing synchronized display of recognized text from an original audio file and playback of the original audio file. The system includes a speech recognition module, a silence insertion module, and a silence detection module. The speech recognition module generates text and audio pieces. The silence insertion module, aggregates the audio pieces into an aggregated audio file. The silence detection module converts the original audio file and the aggregated audio file into silence detected versions. Silent and non-silent blocks are identified using a threshold volume. The silence insertion module compares the silence detected original and aggregated audio files, determines the differences in position of non-silence elements and inserts silence within the audio pieces accordingly. The characteristics of the silence inserted audio pieces are used to synchronize the display of recognized text from an original audio file and playback of original audio file.
