  • Patent number: 10357878
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for moving a manipulator in space along a predefinable movement path with a plurality of individual movements to be carried out one after another in a predefined order, wherein, during the movement of the manipulator along the movement path, during and/or after each individual movement carried out, a reverse movement path is determined, along which, from an intermediate position which the manipulator has reached during and/or after the individual movement carried out last, the manipulator can traverse the individual movements previously carried out, backward in each case and in an order opposite to the predefined order, and to an apparatus having manipulator.

  • Patent number: 6652535
Abstract: A distraction osteogenesis fixture to be anchored in a bone, including a lower anchor, a translational screw, and an upper anchor. At least a portion of the lower anchor is externally threaded. At least a portion of the lower anchor includes an anti-rotational feature. The lower anchor includes an internal passage. At least a portion of the internal passage is threaded. At least a portion of the translational screw is externally threaded such that the translational screw is receivable by the threaded internal passage of the lower anchor. The upper anchor includes an internal passage for receiving a portion of the lower anchor and has an anti-rotational feature for engaging the anti-rotational feature of the lower anchor. The internal passage of the upper anchor includes a surface for engaging the translational screw. At least a portion of the upper anchor is externally threaded.

  • Patent number: 6312259
Abstract: An implant for providing an anchor in bone tissue. A retention portion for implanting into the bone tissue includes at least one retention member for retaining the implant in a preprepared hole in the bone tissue and includes an insertion end. An abutment portion extends from the retention portion opposite the insertion end and has a larger diameter than the retention portion. The abutment portion is for passing through soft tissue one the bone tissue. A stop portion extends from the abutment portion for contacting a member attached to the implant. An attachment groove includes an attachment surface for attaching at least one member connected to another structure. A top portion has a diameter greater than the attachment groove.
