Abstract: A storage system that includes a storage rack and a plurality of containers. The storage rack includes a frame assembly, a plurality of shelf members, and at least one biasing member. The biasing member is positioned on one of the shelf members and extends into a storage space defined two adjacent shelves that is sized to receive a container. The biasing member applies a biasing force upon a container positioned in the storage space thereby retaining the container in the storage rack. The biasing member can be a separately formed piece that is mounted to the shelf member. Alternatively, the biasing member can be formed integral with the shelf member such that addition of the biasing member to the storage rack does not require additional material.

Abstract: A portable self-contained delivery station for liquid natural gas (LNG) is provided on a movable skid frame and equipped with an instant -on delivery system which may initiate LNG delivery immediately to a use vehicle. The skid is equipped with a spill containment feature such that the LNG may be contained in the event of spillage. A variable speed pump both controls LNG dispensing and saturation levels of the stored LNG. The pump is submerged in a sump tank which is separate from the bulk storage tank. The sump tank is flooded with an amount of LNG such that the pump is submerged. Delivery of LNG may thus occur instantly, without pre-cooling of the pump or associated meter.

Abstract: A vehicle-mounted double-walled ellipsoidal cryogenic storage vessel includes an inner vessel enclosed by an outer shell to form an insulation chamber therebetween. Both the inner vessel and the outer shell are formed in the same manner. An elliptical pressure head of circular cross-section is cut along a diameter to form two end halves. An end wall is secured between the two end halves to form an end, which is secured to an end of a wall like cross-section. This process is repeated with another pressure head to form the other end of the storage vessel. Storage vessels may be constructed of any size desired to allow sufficient ground clearance when mounted under a vehicle.

Abstract: A container for low boiling liquefied gas formed of an inner and outer vessel spaced one from the other to provide an insulated space in between with the inner vessel being of cylindrical shape with the elongate axis horizontally disposed and means for supporting the inner vessel from the outer vessel by interconnection along the horizontal axis and in a manner to prevent relative rotational movement while permitting movement of the inner vessel relative to the outer vessel in the axial direction in response to expansions and contractions due to temperature change.
