  • Publication number: 20080129519
Abstract: A multi-sensor baby care monitoring system includes a wetness sensor configured to generate a first signal relating to an occurrence of a wetness event relative to a wetness containment device, such as a diaper. The monitoring system further includes a human life sensor configured to generate a second signal relating to a presence or absence of a human relative to the wetness containment device. If desired, a system controller may be used for receiving the first and second signals and generating data associated with the wetness event and the presence or absence of said human.

  • Publication number: 20080121701
Abstract: A system and method for receiving a user's biometric data and decoding encoded biometric embedded digital multimedia data into a multimedia signal based on received biometric data in mechanisms. An example includes a dedicated DVD player with a fingerprint scanner. Alternatively, existing DVD players may be retrofitted for the same function. The fingerprint can be encoded at the beginning of each recorded segment, or only at the beginning of the recorded material on the DVD. The system enables a DVD player to work with a television set, once enabled by matching the biometric data encoded on the medium to be viewed.

  • Patent number: 6870479
Abstract: A personal care monitoring system is disclosed. In accordance with one embodiment, the monitoring system may include a wetness sensor configured to detect a wetness event occurring within an associated diaper, and a human life sensor configured to detect presence of human life relative to the associated diaper. A monitoring unit having a system controller in communication with the wetness and human life sensors may be utilized in such a manner that the system controller monitors the wetness and human life sensors and generates data associated with detected wetness events and presence of human life relative to the associated diaper.
