    Abstract: An insulated panel (10) is configured to be welded to another insulated panel (12), defining a seam with weld material (14) therebetween. A space or spacer (26, 28) is incorporated into each panel (10, 12) adjacent the seam so that the welding process can occur without damaging the insulative core (24) of the panel (10, 12) and offgasing does not occur from heating of the insulative core (24).
