    Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for video encoding are provided. For example, a video file may be segmented into at least a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may be analyzed to determine that the first portion is associated with a first level of complexity, and the second portion may be analyzed to determine that the second portion is associated with a second level of complexity. A first bitrate associated with the first level of complexity may be determined, and a second bitrate associated with the second level of complexity may be determined. The first portion may be encoded at the first bitrate to generate a first encoded portion, and the second portion may be encoded at the second bitrate to generate a second encoded portion. The first encoded portion and the second encoded portion may be assembled to generate an optimized video file.

    Abstract: Numerical and/or semi-analytical methods are leveraged to decouple a complete set of nonzero electromagnetic field tensor components (118) from detected signal data (119). Nine nonzero components can serve as inputs for a three-dimensional inversion process to determine formation properties. A resistivity tool (100) containing at least one transmitter (111) and at least one receiver (108, 109) at tilted angles receives an electromagnetic signal throughout a rotation. A difference in the azimuthal positions of the transmitter(s) and receiver(s) during rotation of the resistivity tool can result in an azimuthal offset between resistivity tool subs. The components (118) are decoupled from the detected signal data (119) numerically or semi-analytically according to whether the azimuthal offset angle is known. If the azimuthal offset angle is known, the nine components are determined numerically through curve fitting.

    Abstract: Vascular remodeling devices can include a proximal section, an intermediate section, and a distal section. During deployment, the proximal section can expand from a compressed delivery state to an expanded state and anchor the device in an afferent vessel of a bifurcation. The distal section expands from the compressed delivery state to an expanded state that may be substantially planar, approximately semi-spherical, umbrella shaped, or reverse umbrella shaped. The distal section is positioned in a bifurcation junction across the neck of an aneurysm or within an aneurysm. The intermediate section allows perfusion to efferent vessels. Before or after the device is in position, embolic material may be used to treat the aneurysm. The distal section can act as a scaffolding to prevent herniation of the embolic material. The device can be used for clot retrieval with integral distal embolic protection.

A second structural layer is deposited on the first structural layer and includes a depression or a bump corresponding to the enclosed trench or pillar, respectively. At least the second structural layer is heated to a temperature above a glass transition temperature of the second structural layer causing the second structural layer to reflow. A diaphragm layer is deposited on the second structural layer such that the diaphragm layer includes at least one of a downward facing corrugation corresponding to the depression or an upward facing corrugation corresponding to the bump. The diaphragm layer is released, thereby forming a diaphragm suspended over the substrate.
