  • Patent number: 7874907
Abstract: An electronic bingo game and method for playing the same wherein a random number generator selects bingo balls from a predetermined range that includes regular bingo balls (210) and one or more feature balls (208). As regular bingo balls (210) are selected they are compared to the numbers on a bingo card (206). The card is marked when a match occurs. Eventually, if the spaces marked on the player's card match one or more of the winning patterns, the player receives an award. The selection of a feature ball (208) triggers a game altering function such as terminating the game and comparing the marked spaces on the bingo card to a set of winning patterns, or, alternatively, terminating the game and paying additional winnings for bingo patterns marked on the player's bingo card prior to selection of the Feature Ball (208). Other feature ball functions may also be implemented.

  • Publication number: 20060247003
Abstract: Systems and methods for advancing play of a secondary game through play of a primary game in which one or more primary gaming machines are networked to a common gaming machine. The secondary game resides on the common gaming machine and is in a state of continuous play, which does not progress until input is received from one of the primary gaming machines as the result of a triggering event. If the triggering event advances the secondary game to a winning state, the player of the primary game associated with the winning state of the secondary game receives an award.

  • Publication number: 20060229122
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing shared display of game events between a gaming machine and a secondary display server. Game events are initially displayed on a primary display of the gaming machine and, on the occurrence of a triggering event during play of the game on the gaming machine, a connection is established via a network protocol between the gaming machine and a secondary display server remotely located from the gaming machine. Display data is then transferred across the connection causing the game events to be displayed on the secondary display as well as the primary display.
