Abstract: A system and method for generating user customized video streams includes a video server configured to store video streams captured during a sporting event, a user interface for receiving user input, and a processor that dynamically determines which video streams to select, in accordance with the user input, during the sporting event for generating a user customized video stream. The user can select video streams presented on the user interface, or the processor can automatically select a video streams based on a user selected feature, such as a particular player. The processor can perform image analysis of video streams to determine which of the video streams visually presents the player, and can automatically select the appropriate video stream for the user customized video stream.
