  • Publication number: 20130200087
Abstract: The invention is directed to a clip that enhances the function of a beverage cup sleeve, such that the clip affords additional protection from hot liquids, diminishes spillage, reduces slipping, is compact, light-weight, and reusable or disposable. Briefly, the invention is directed to a cup sleeve clip for use with a cup sleeve. The clip is formed from an elongated structure. Hooks are formed at opposite ends of the structure, along the length on one side with the open side of each hook directed to the opposite end of the elongated structure, to form a shape similar to a compacted ā€œCā€ shape. The hooks engage with the upper and lower edges of the sleeve. At least one cantilevered handle is attached to the upper end on the opposite side of the structure. The cantilevered tab engages with the user's hand or an object to assist in supporting the cup.
