  • Publication number: 20170253458
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary plate of a spinning machine, in particular a section or a carding engine, for depositing a sliver in a canister, with a base body (2) and a band channel (3) arranged in the base body (2). In accordance with the invention, it is proposed that, when the rotary plate (1) is used as intended, the side of the rotary plate turned towards the rotary plate (1) features, at least partially, a coating (6) with a spatial configuration made of spherical, irregular elevations (11).

  • Patent number: 6085392
Abstract: The present invention concerns a stretch machine with a drive mechanism which is placed in a drive enclosure (3). This drive is covered by a movable top (2), which lies with its edge areas (24) on a stationary part (10) of the stretch machine and which top carries a blower (4) with at least one suction side and one discharge side. The blower stands with its suction side in connection with a filter (5) and with its discharge side open to the interior of the drive enclosure (3). Within the drive enclosure is provided an air distribution system (6). This is so arranged and so oriented that the blower (4) produces, in the entire peripheral area of the cover (2), an effect which is essentially of uniform strength. The blower 4 is provided with a control apparatus (71) for a reversal of its direction of impelling air.

  • Patent number: 6081972
Abstract: The invention concerns a textile machine operating on fiber band with a feeding device for the fiber band and a guide element for the fiber band and further provided with a band monitor for the discovery of band breakage. The band monitor (BW, BW1, BW2, BW3) is placed always in the area of the guide element, in particular one band guide (BF) and another band guide element (FE, FE1, FE2, FE3) in the area of the band monitor (BW, BW1, BW2, BW3). The running time behavior of the fiber band (FB) is directly improved by the guide element (FE, FE1, FE2, FE3), that is, the vibrations of the fiber band (FB) are damped. This will avoid a situation wherein false alarm signals are given because of an originally vibrating fiber band at the band monitor.

  • Patent number: 5953792
Abstract: A guide apparatus (1) for the fiber band of a textile machine which processes fibers, is situated between a pair of delivery rolls and a pair of calender rolls. The guide apparatus (1) exhibits a nozzle assembly (2, 3) with respective guide passage axes (6, 15) which form a guide path, and which nozzle sections (2, 3) are pivotally connected at their facing contacting surfaces (9, 11). The guide passage axes (6, 15) of the nozzle sections (2, 3) are angularly offset to one another, whereby at least one nozzle section (2) is pivotable from a start-up position into an operating position about a designed pivoting axis at right angles to the guide passage axes (6, 15). In the connective position, the contacting surfaces of the nozzle sections (2, 3) lie form fit and sealingly tight against one another, and in the operational position the nozzle sections (2, 3) form at least an aperture (S), preferably in the area of the contact surfaces (9, 11).

  • Patent number: 5799374
Abstract: A spinning machine for the doubling or stretching of fiber bands with a rolling section having lower rolls which are secured in journal blocks, and wherein the upper rolls may be also secured on said journal blocks with pressure means for the loading of said upper rolls, it is proposed that the pivoting axis of the pressure arm for the placement of the pressure means to the upper rolls be arranged in such a way that, when observed in the running direction of the fiber band, said axis lies behind the rolling section. Advantageously, what is achieved thereby, is that the spinning machine can be maintained in a considerably simpler and quicker manner. Following the upward pivoting of the pressure arm, the entire area of the rolling section becomes freely accessible. The pivoting geometry of the pressure arm can be so varied, that the upper rolls can be easily restored into the guides on the journal blocks of the lower rolls.

  • Patent number: 5755135
Abstract: A process and device for scanning a moving fiber sliver in a textile machine to measure the thickness of the sliver has a movably mounted scanning element which is pressed against the fiber sliver and has a contact pressure against the sliver. The degree of movement of the movable scanning element indicates changes in the thickness of the moving fiber sliver. An adjusting element is connected to the movably mounted scanning element and maintains a constant contact pressure of the scanning element against the sliver over the entire measuring range of the movable scanning element.
