  • Patent number: 9038054
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computer system for a sentiment action process. Electronic feedback reports about a version of a product are received over a network from one or more users of a plurality of users. Sentiment of at least a portion of the electronic feedback reports about the version of the product is analyzed. The sentiment of at least the portion of the electronic feedback reports about the version of the product is determined to have reached a threshold. In response to determining that the sentiment of at least the portion of the electronic feedback reports about the version of the product has reached the threshold, the version of the product is automatically changed to a second version of the product.

  • Publication number: 20080097654
Abstract: A system for providing irrigation control is provided. The system includes a number of non-local data sources for providing data, a processor and an irrigation system. The processor is configured to receive data from one or more of the non-local data sources and calculate an evapotranspiration (ET) value for an irrigation area that is non-local with respect to the non-local data sources. The irrigation system is located in the irrigation area and configured to receive the ET value from the processor and provide appropriate irrigation control for the irrigation area using the ET value.

  • Patent number: 7305280
Abstract: A system for providing irrigation control is provided. The system includes a processor configured to calculate an offset to an evapotranspiration (ET) value and an irrigation system configured to receive the offset from the processor and provide appropriate irrigation adjustment based on the offset. The offset is calculated based on the ET value and the ET value has been previously provided to the irrigation system.

The processor is configured to receive data from one or more of the non-local data sources and calculate an evapotranspiration (ET) value for an irrigation area that is non-local with respect to the non-local data sources. The processor is further configured to create or alter an irrigation program based on the ET value. The irrigation system is configured to receive the irrigation program from the processor and provide appropriate irrigation control for the irrigation area using the irrigation program.

  • Patent number: 7182272
Abstract: A system for providing reliable communications between components of an irrigation system is provided. The system includes a central control, a number of communication systems each representing a transmission channel, an irrigation controller having a receiver that is configured to receive signals from the communication systems, and one or more valves controlled by the irrigation controller to provide irrigation. According to one aspect of the system, in order to direct the irrigation controller to take certain actions, the central control first generates a message. The message is then delivered to the communication systems. In one instance, the message is transmitted by the communication systems in a rotating manner, i.e., the communication systems take turn in transmitting the message in a predetermined cycle. To ensure proper reception of the message, the irrigation controller conforms to the rotational transmission schedule of the communication systems and monitors the incoming signals accordingly.

  • Patent number: 6390357
Abstract: A ventilated container includes a rectangular bottom panel and first and second end panels connected to the bottom panel which extend outwardly therefrom. There are first and second side panels connected to the bottom panel which also extend outwardly therefrom. The side panels are connected to adjacent end panels. Each of the side panels has a longitudinal passageway extending therethrough from the first end panel to the second end panel to permit air to pass from the first end panel to the second end panel. When the containers are stacked in two adjacent rows, air can pass through the passageways from the first row to the second row to cool and ventilate contents of the containers. Alternatively the passageway may be in an end panel.
