  • Patent number: 10903869
Abstract: The portable communication terminal for communicating on at least two independent radio networks, comprises, in a single housing: Communication means (47, 49) by time multiplexing on a single radio channel, TDMA type full-duplex, for audio communication in “conference” and “hands-free” mode on a first autonomous network without infrastructure, Access means (43, 50) for half-duplex audio communication on a second autonomous network, independent from the first full-duplex network, A connection to a microphone (41) and a speaker (52), A wireless connection for a cellular telephone network, At least one pushbutton (45) for switching the communication of the microphone and the loudspeaker to and from the communication on the first network, the second network or the cellular telephone network by means of electronic switching circuits and An electronic codec type audio signal mixer (42, 51) having a plurality of inputs and outputs, configured to mix half-duplex communications on the full-duplex local area network

  • Patent number: 9479278
Abstract: A communication terminal having a digital communication circuit and an automatic synchronizer. The digital communication circuit utilizes time division multiplexing in a single radio channel, selectable in a frequency band. The terminal implements a wireless communication in a conference and hands-free mode on an autonomous network between at least two wearers of similar terminals. The automatic synchronizer synchronizes to the signal of other terminal in the group to synchronize its internal time reference. This ensures the continuity of communication between each terminal in the group within a range of each other, even when the communication is lost with other terminals in the group. No particular terminal is required to maintain the synchronization in the group.

  • Patent number: 5893859
Abstract: A method for endoluminally isolating a pathological defect in a body passageway. The method includes the steps of advancing a graft through the body passageway and attaching a distal portion of the graft to the interior surface of the body passageway. A proximal portion of the graft is sized within the body passageway. The method sizes the graft by moving an intraluminal cutting device through the body passageway relative to the graft and actuating the cutting device within the body passageway at a predetermined position relative to the graft. The foregoing steps result in a graft being cut to a desired length within the body passageway. Contrast may be injected in the vicinity of the graft to facilitate the method. Graft cutting while the graft is contained in a guide sheath. Also, the graft may be attached to a stent for attaching it within the body passageway. A device for performing the method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5827310
Abstract: A device for endoluminally cutting a graft is disclosed. The device includes an elongated catheter having an actuator at its proximal end and a cutting element remote from its proximal end. The actuator causes the cutting element to sever the graft endoluminally. The cutting element effects a cut through the wall of the graft to cut the graft, endoluminally, to a desired length. The cutting element includes a portion shaped so that the catheter can be positioned relative to the graft with the graft in close proximity to the cutting element.
