  • Publication number: 20250082212
Abstract: A new system and method is provided for blood pressure measurements that use an accuracy-improved pulse rate detection, which includes determining PTT (pulse transit time). Various aspects contribute to the greater accuracy, including but not limited to pre-processing of the camera output/input, extracting the pulsatile signal from the preprocessed camera signals, followed by post-filtering of the pulsatile signal. This improved information is then used for accurate BP determination, which is not possible with inaccurate methods for optical pulse rate detection.

Various aspects contribute to the greater accuracy, including but not limited to pre-processing of the camera output/input, extracting the pulsatile signal from the preprocessed camera signals, followed by post-filtering of the pulsatile signal. This improved information may then be used for such analysis as HRV determination. Preferably a plurality of such physiological measurements are used to determine blood pressure measurements.
