    Abstract: The invention relates to a nonwoven unit comprising at least one nonwoven layer having at least one first layer and at least one second layer. The second layer is in the form of a nonwoven layer composed of continuous filaments. The average pore size of pores formed in the first layer is smaller than the average pore size of the pores between the filaments of the second layer. The second layer has functional particles which are embedded in the pores between the filaments of the second layer. The first layer forms a barrier preventing the penetration of particles or functional particles having a size greater than 150 ?m.

When an activating operation is performed, the phone is switched from inactive into locked active mode. An unlocking operation switches the phone from locked active into unlocked active mode. User input is accepted only in unlocked active mode. The server selects a number of images and transmits them to the mobile phone. One of the transmitted images is selected and kept available for display, during locked active mode, the selected image is displayed. A count indicates how many times an image has been displayed, and the count value for each image is transmitted from the mobile phone to the server.

    Abstract: A method is taught for applying vacuum pulses to enhance multiphase vacuum extraction of vapours and liquids from contaminated subsurface wells. The method involves first initiating continuous multiphase vacuum extraction from the subsurface well. Then one or more short vacuum pulses are imparted to the subsurface environment, to momentarily interrupt flow of vapours and liquids in the subsurface well. Time is allowed for a vacuum to build up in the extraction apparatus; and then the vacuum build up is rapidly released to momentarily increase velocity of vapours and liquids being extracted from the subsurface well. A device is further taught for imparting vacuum pulses to enhance multiphase extraction from contaminated subsurface wells, comprising a vacuum pulse tool having an inlet in fluid communication with the subsurface well and an outlet and one or more multiphase extraction vacuum pumps, connected to the outlet of the vacuum pulse tool.

    Abstract: A device and a method for processing high data rate serial data includes a VCO initial frequency calibration circuit. The circuit includes a frequency detection block for indicating a difference between a reference clock and a divided VCO clock, a frequency calibration block that produces a digital output signal based upon the difference between the reference clock and the divided VCO clock, and a digital-to-analog converter for producing an analog VCO adjust signal. The frequency detection block produces a plurality of signals based upon the reference clock and the divided VCO clock. A plurality of user selected inputs selects a frequency detection lock range and hysteresis range and a coarse loop open calibration lock and hysteresis range. The frequency calibration block implements a state machine for producing the digital output signal that sets the initial operating frequency then adjusts the frequency of the VCO clock.
