  • Publication number: 20230301683
Abstract: The present invention provides a cannula for delivering a tissue graft to a treatment site. The cannula comprises a distal end, a proximal end, a bore formed by an interior surface of the cannula, extending from the distal end to the proximal end and having a diameter, and a tissue graft inside the bore and in contact with the interior surface. The tissue graft may be released from the cannula at the distal end to the treatment site. The tissue graft may have a final loading pressure of 20-200 psi. Also provided is a delivery system comprising the cannula and a delivery device. Further provided are methods for delivering a tissue graft in a cannula to a treatment site and methods for preparing a cannula loaded with the tissue graft.

  • Patent number: 8690238
Abstract: An active head restraint system for a vehicle seat includes a head restraint, force pad and connectors. The head restraint and force pad are connected via the connectors. The active head restraint system is connected with a frame of the vehicle seat such that rearward movement of the force pad results in forward movement of the head rest. Springs attached to the active head restraint system and a frame of the seat are used to resist the rearward movement of the force pad.

  • Publication number: 20060007306
Abstract: A system and method for setting up a user interface of a remote control. The remote control displays a logical group of function keys the activation of which will cause the remote control to transmit a command to a target device and a plurality of indicators representative of devices. A user input functions to select one of the plurality of indicators and the device represented by the selected indicator is assigned as the target device for the logical group of function keys.

  • Publication number: 20040139789
Abstract: An apparatus and method for leak testing a lumened instrument, such as an endoscope, utilizes a compressor for pressurizing the interior of the lumened instrument to a predetermined internal pressure and a monitoring device which de-actuates the compressor when the internal pressure reaches the predetermined internal pressure. Calculator circuits calculate any difference in the instrument pressure between the moment that the compressor is de-actuated and the end of a prescribed period of time following the de-actuation of the compressor, and comparison circuits compare the pressure difference to an acceptable range of pressure differentials. A set of pass/fail indicator lights provide a visual indication of whether the compared difference is within or outside of the acceptable range so that an operator can tell by viewing the pass/fail indicator lights whether the instrument being tested has an unacceptable leak.

  • Patent number: 6434900
Abstract: A prefabricated wall system for free-standing subdivision partitions, highway sound and visual barriers, privacy walls, or walls of a building having a plurality of prefabricated modular panels that are removably interconnected and installed. Each panel is essentially a factory-built sandwich having an expanded plastic foam core between two composite reinforcing wafers. Each wafer is comprised of an inner layer of fiberglass coated with an exterior layer of concrete reinforced with a grid of steel bars. The foam core has a pair of vertical cylindrical voids sized and spaced to mate with foundation columns pre-poured on site. The ends of each panel are reinforced with a steel sling lifting assembly embedded in concrete that includes removable eyebolts at the top edge whereby the panels can be attached to cables at each end for hoisting above the foundation columns and then lowering into place. A vertical groove or trough at each end of the panels receives a connector, such an expansion joint filler.
