  • Patent number: 11947862
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to streaming interactive content from a native application executing at an artificial reality (XR) device into an artificial reality environment and/or to nearby XR device(s). A shell environment at an XR system can manage the software components of the system. The shell environment can include a shell application and a three-dimensional shell XR environment displayed to a user. An additional application, natively executing at the XR system, can provide a host version of content and a remote version of content. A two-dimensional virtual object displayed in the shell XR environment can display the host version of the content, and the remote version of the content can be streamed to a remote XR system. The remote XR system can display the remote content within another two-dimensional virtual object, for example in another shell XR environment displayed by the remote XR system.

  • Publication number: 20230117050
Abstract: An additive manufacturing composition comprising a thermosetting material such as a vinyl ester and/or an unsaturated polyester, a reinforcing material, and a low-profile additive. When the composition is cured to form an object, the cured object has a CLTE of 10 um/m-° C. or less in X- and/or Y-directions, and/or 100 um/m-° C. or less in a Z-direction. Additive manufacturing methods can use the composition to produce an object having high dimensional stability.

  • Publication number: 20220147199
Abstract: A method implements data visualization offline interaction. A user requests a data visualization, and sends the request to a server. The method receives a data model needed to render the data visualization and a data visualization library. The method stores the data model and data visualization library in memory. The method generates the data visualization based on the data model using the data visualization library, and displays the data visualization in a data visualization interface. A user manipulates the data visualization. If there is no connectivity with the server, indicating offline mode, and the user input corresponds to functionality that is available in the offline mode, the method retrieves the stored data model and data visualization library and generates an updated data visualization based on the data model using the visualization library. The updated data visualization is displayed in the data visualization interface.

  • Patent number: 8738535
Abstract: The software site licensing system includes a client site having a target unit and a license sales site for generating a corresponding site license. The sales site receives an order for a target unit from the client and sends the physical order to a warehouse for shipping. The sales site determines the intangible portion of the order and establishes a virtual warehouse for the client to inventory the intangibles (license components). The warehouse notifies the sales site of the unique identifiers on the target prior to shipping so the sales site can link the en-route target with the client. The client accesses its personal virtual warehouse and selects the license components desired for the site license. The system assembles the site license and upon request, transmits the site license from the virtual warehouse to the target unit for installation.

  • Patent number: 8690068
Abstract: This invention relates to a novel architecture of a passive RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) tag which is highly miniature in size, capable of metal mounting and suitable for global operation in the entire UHF band (860 MHz to 960 MHz) without necessity of territory specific optimization of the antenna design layout. This invention envisages a novel antenna design that consists of a circular or rectangular microstrip antenna of ultra-small size (??/50), which is suitably loaded in shunt by lumped components resistor (R), inductor (L) and capacitor (C). The feed point, feed layout and the loading values are so optimized that a single tag will display optimum performance in all the territories. This invention relates to a method of encapsulating the passive tag with radio transparent materials like Radel® R, as well as a metal backplane so that the encapsulated tag can withstand autoclaving while maintaining the required performance.

  • Publication number: 20070257831
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for providing location determination in a configured environment in which Global Navigation Satellite System Signals are not available. In this regard, local beacon systems generate spread spectrum CDMA signals that are received by spectral compression units that derive physically meaningful observations without a requirement for correlation of the intercepted energy by means of the known spreading codes. The invention can coexist with communication assets already in place, and the design allows for self calibration, which simplifies installation and usage. The invention has utility in applications in which GNSS signals are unavailable or limited, for example, in warehouse inventory management, in search and rescue operations and in asset tracking in indoor environments.
