  • Publication number: 20070112100
Abstract: Mercaptan-hardened epoxy polymer compositions, methods of making the mercaptan-hardened epoxy polymer compositions, and methods of using the mercaptan-hardened epoxy polymer compositions are provided. The mercaptan-hardened epoxy polymer can be produced by contacting a thiol ester composition and an epoxide composition to produce a mixture and then heating the mixture to produce the mercaptan-hardened epoxy polymer. In some embodiments, the thiol ester compositions include thiol esters, hydroxy thiol esters, and crosslinked thiol esters. Adhesive polymer compositions, methods of making the adhesive polymer compositions, and methods of using the adhesive polymer compositions are provided. The adhesive polymer composition can be produced by contacting a thiol ester composition and an epoxide composition to produce a mixture and then heating the mixture to produce the adhesive polymer composition.

  • Publication number: 20070055033
Abstract: Poly(?-thioether ester) compositions, methods of making the poly(?-thioether ester) compositions, and methods of using the poly(?-thioether ester) compositions are provided. The poly(?-thioether ester) can be produced by contacting a thiol ester composition and an ?,?-unsaturated ester to produce a mixture and then heating the mixture to produce the poly(?-thioether ester). In some embodiments, the thiol ester compositions include thiol esters, hydroxy thiol esters, and cross-linked thiol esters.

  • Publication number: 20060111520
Abstract: Polythiourethane polymer compositions, methods of making the polythiourethane polymer compositions, and methods of using the polythiourethane polymer compositions are provided. The polythiourethane can be produced by contacting a thiol ester composition and an isocyanate to produce a mixture and then heating the mixture to produce the polythiourethane polymer. In some embodiments, the thiol ester compositions include thiol esters, hydroxy thiol esters, and cross-linked thiol esters.

  • Publication number: 20050197391
Abstract: Thiol ester compositions, methods of making the thiol ester compositions, and methods of using the thiol ester compositions are provided. In some embodiments, the thiol ester compositions include thiol esters, hydroxy thiol esters and cross-linked thiol esters. The thiol ester composition can be used to produce cross-linked thiol esters, sulfonic acid-containing esters, sulfonate containing esters and thioacrylate containing esters. The thiol ester compositions can be used to produce polythiourethanes. The polythiourethanes can be used in fertilizers and fertilizer coatings.

  • Patent number: 6919914
Abstract: An endoscopic viewing system including a powered zoom coupler. The coupler is configured to attach the camera to a proximal end of an endoscope. The coupler includes a plurality of lenses that are positioned within a sleeve. The coupler includes a first motor and a second motor. Each of the first motor and the second motor move at least a portion of the plurality of lenses with respect to the sleeve. The coupler can optically focus and magnify the image applied to a camera.
    Type: Grant
