  • Patent number: 10018306
Abstract: A gas system includes a container, a fitting, a gas tube, adsorbent, and a filter. The container stores gas under pressure. The fitting covers an opening of the container and maintains a seal with the opening of the container. The gas tube is inserted through a bore in the fitting such that a length of a portion of the gas tube inside of the container is at least one half of a length of the container. The portion of the gas tube in the container includes holes. The adsorbent is in a particulate form and adsorbs gas in the container. The filter covers the holes in the portion of the gas tube in the container. The filter permits passage of gas into and out of the gas tube and prevents passage of the adsorbent into the gas tube.

  • Publication number: 20170117064
Abstract: A device may receive nuclear plant information associated with a nuclear plant. The nuclear plant information may include information relating to operation of equipment located within the nuclear plant. The information may be provided by the equipment or by a set of worker devices carried by workers in the nuclear plant. The device may analyze the nuclear plant information. The device may determine, based on analyzing the nuclear plant information, an analysis result corresponding to the equipment. The analysis result may include information describing at least one of: a performance of the equipment, or a task to be performed in association with maintaining, repairing, or observing the equipment. The device may provide information associated with the analysis result.

  • Publication number: 20160356425
Abstract: An adsorbence-based gas storage system includes a pressure vessel containing a granular gas adsorbent material, for example, an activated carbon or a metal-organic framework. The system may be configured to store natural gas or methanol. The pressure vessel includes a pressure release device, and an inlet/outlet valve for passage of gas into and out of the pressure vessel. A microwave or RF generator is configured to selectively heat the adsorbent material. In one embodiment the generator is connected to the pressure vessel through one or more waveguides, and at one or more locations along the pressure vessel. A sensor, for example, a temperature sensor, monitors the temperature in the pressure vessel. A computing device uses the sensor data to control the generator to selectively heat the adsorbent material.

  • Patent number: 5802722
Abstract: A one handed knife including a handle having upper and lower handle portions, the upper handle portion including an arcuate recess extending therethrough and the lower handle portion including a blade lock release extending therefrom. A blade is pivotally connected between the upper and lower handle portions and includes a thumb pin extending therefrom. A tension bar having a first and second ends is slideably connected at its first end to the upper handle portion and its second end extends through the arcuate recess and is connected to the blade.
