  • Publication number: 20070234616
Abstract: The improved sign/banner support is comprised of two parallel banner rods, each parallel to the vertical axis of a round or polygonal pole and each terminating in a cincture dimensioned to compressibly clinch the pole. The banner rods and cincture are comprised of a single length of a springable wire material. The rods are spaced to form an opening whereby the improved banner support may be presented to the pole. When mounted on the pole, the banner rods abut against the pole while the cincture forms an acute angle with respect to the vertical axis of the pole.

  • Patent number: 7231551
Abstract: A system accessible by a test access port controller via a test access port interface includes a data register. The data register is selectable based on an instruction register signal in the test access port interface. The instruction register signal is derived form an instruction register in the test access port controller. A shift register is connected to a data input and a data output in the test access port interface and to the data register. The operation of the shift register is controlled based on an indication of a state of a test access port controller state machine that is received over the test access port interface.

  • Patent number: 7065675
Abstract: A system and method for providing efficient block transfer operations through a test access port uses a Fastdata register. The Fastdata register, in part, emulates a pending process access bit (“PrAcc”) typically found in a Control register associated with the test access port. When a Fastdata access (either a Fastdata upload or a Fastdata download) is requested by a probe coupled to the test access port, the Fastdata register is serially coupled to a data register also associated with the test access port. With these registers so coupled and through the operation of the Fastdata register, downloading and uploading data can be accomplished using a single register operation.

  • Publication number: 20060065015
Abstract: A process for recovering liquefied C3 compounds from a natural gas stream containing C3 compounds which comprises (a) chilling the natural gas stream under conditions sufficient to liquefy the natural gas, whereby a mixture comprising liquid natural gas (LNG) and liquid C3 compounds is formed; (b) fractionating the mixture comprising liquid natural gas (LNG) and liquid C3 compounds in a separation zone under sub-atmospheric pressure and under conditions predetermined to vaporize a significant portion of the natural gas present while retaining the C3 compounds as a liquid fraction; and (c) recovering separately from the separation zone natural gas and liquid C3 compounds.

  • Publication number: 20060045159
Abstract: An oxygen diffusion barrier is used to maintain a purity level of lasing gas in a ring laser gyroscope or other gas discharge device. The oxygen diffusion barrier reduces a release of contaminate gases into a cavity of the ring laser gyroscope and/or absorbs the contaminate gases in the cavity. The oxygen diffusion barrier may be formed on walls of the cavity before or after assembly of the ring laser gyroscope. Alternatively, a material may be applied to inside walls of a cathode mounted on a block of the ring laser gyroscope to maintain the purity level of the lasing gas. As a result of maintaining the purity level of the lasing gas, the ring laser gyroscope operates more efficiently.

  • Patent number: 6690873
Abstract: Optical structures and method for producing tunable waveguide lasers. In one embodiment, a waveguide is defined within a glass substrate doped with a rare-earth element or elements by ion diffusion. Feedback elements such as mirrors or reflection gratings in the waveguide further define a laser-resonator cavity so that laser light is output from the waveguide when pumped optically or otherwise. Means are disclosed for varying the wavelengths reflected by the reflection gratings and varying the effective length of the resonator cavity to thereby tune the laser to a selected wavelength. Apparatus and method for integrating rare-earth doped lasers and optics on glass substrates. The invention includes a laser component formed from a glass substrate doped with a optically active lanthanides species with a plurality of waveguides defined by channels within the substrate.
