    Abstract: An ash remover for removing ashes from a wood burning stove or fireplace includes a housing with top and bottom walls, spaced-apart side walls, a rear wall, and a front door. A fixed gripping handle projects outwardly from the rear wall of the housing. A pivotable gripping handle is mounted to the side walls of the housing of the ash remover. The ash remover may be used in combination with a sifting tool to separate burning embers from ashes prior to removing the ashes from the wood burning stove or fireplace.
