  • Publication number: 20240119664
Abstract: A remote device utilizes ray tracing to compute a light field for a scene to be rendered, where the light field includes information about light reflected off surfaces within the scene. This light field is then compressed utilizing one or more video compression techniques that implement temporal reuse, such that only differences between the light field for the scene and a light field for a previous scene are compressed. The compressed light field data is then sent to a client device that decompresses the light field data and uses such data to obtain the light field for the scene at the client device. This light field is then used by the client device to compute global illumination for the scene. The global illumination may be used to accurately render the scene at the mobile device, resulting in a realistic scene that is presented by the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11935289
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and system that manage agricultural analysis in dynamic environments includes detecting a location of one or more agricultural objects of interest in image data of an environment captured by a sensor device during active navigation of the environment. An orientation and position of the sensor device with respect to the image data is determined. Each of the one or more agricultural objects of interest is analyzed based on the image data, the detected location of the one or more agricultural objects of interest, and the determined orientation and position of the sensor device to determine one or more characteristics about the one or more agricultural objects of interest. At least one action is initiated based on the determined one or more characteristics about the one or more agricultural objects of interest.

  • Patent number: 11922092
Abstract: An electronic shelf label (ESL) system is discussed. An ESL affixed to a shelf facing assists stock associates in managing products on the shelf. More particularly, the ESL may receive and display step-by-step instructions and/or graphical depictions on a display screen of the ESL that are received from a computing device-executed optimization module. The instructions may be generated to minimize the number of required actions by the stock associate and guide the associate in arranging products on the shelf. The displayed instructions may be determined based on a planogram. The planogram may be generated from a range of criteria including historical profit and loss data, inventory data, supply and demand data and/or labor cost data.

  • Publication number: 20220076392
Abstract: Various examples are directed to apparatus and methods for enhancing an X-ray medical image. In one example, a method for X-ray dental images enhancement is provided. The method includes receiving an input image and applying the noise reduction trough Recursive Locally-Adaptive Wiener Filtration (RLA-WF) based on the sliding window, which is calculated following a recursive two-dimensional scheme; contrast enhancement to the filtered image, including using recursive Sliding Window Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (SW-CLAHE) utilizing a Truncation Threshold Surface (TTS) for calculation of the truncation threshold for the local histogram in each sliding window. The method also includes applying sharpness enhancement to the input image, including using Fast Recursive Adaptive Unsharp Masking (FRA-UM) utilizing a sliding window with two or one-dimensional recursion, to obtain a sharpened image.
