Abstract: Professional services call management architecture. A professional services communications system (e.g., of a law firm) interfaces to a web-based call management system to facilitate call management (e.g., teleconferencing) capabilities in a professional services environment. The system can include a professional services communications component that facilitates voice communications, and a web-based call communications component that interfaces to the professional services communications component to facilitate the professional services call management (e.g., accounting to client). The web-based system can also support communications via VoIP. The web-based call management system facilitates communications for at least one of wired and wireless telephone communications systems and, one-way and two-way communications.

Abstract: A command and control architecture that facilitates detection of a situation and, processing, notifying and communicating alerts, and calling for services. However a situation is ascertained, whether a sensor senses it, a human observes it, and/or the physical location of police cars, emergency vehicles, fire vehicles are ascertained, attributes of each of the sensors, observer, and/or assets can get passed both to a mapping component that maintains situation awareness information for presentation on a map. The attribute data is also analyzed with the results data passed to the central communications component for data and communications management, further facilitating notification and alerting of the appropriate services to get the appropriate people and equipment involved, and then linking it other data sources to further support the system functions.

Abstract: A radio/telephony interoperability architecture that facilitates intercommunications between a security services network, elected officials and/or emergency services network and a telephony management system for one-way and two-way security and/or emergency teleconferencing communications. The telephony system creates a session in which one or more session participants can communicate with front-line mobile radio operators (e.g., first responder personnel) and radio band components. Mobile radio systems can be accessed via circuit-switched and packet-switched networks with communications capable of existing between horizontal services entities (e.g., city fire and police) and vertical entities (e.g., city, state, and federal agencies and personnel). Furthermore, the presence of participants and potential participants is provided to authorized users to facilitate the establishment of such conferences. Notifications and alarms are used to alert participants and potential participants of important events.

Abstract: A hospitality teleconferencing architecture. A web-supported teleconferencing system interfaces to a hospitality communications system to facilitate teleconferencing capabilities in the hospitality network. The system can include a hospitality communications network component that facilitates hospitality communications, and a web-supported teleconferencing system component that interfaces to the hospitality communications network to facilitate the hospitality communications services. The web-supported teleconferencing system can also communicate via VoIP. The web-supported teleconferencing system facilitates communications to at least one of wired and wireless telephone communications systems and, one-way and two-way communications.

Abstract: A voice response component that interfaces to a digital telephone communications system to, generally, communicate voice messages, and more specifically, to provide call conferencing. The voice response component includes a non-voice communications bus, and a session component that interfaces to the voice response component to manage processing of the voice messages by routing the voice messages along the non-voice communications bus to facilitate managing a call session.
