  • Publication number: 20230403940
Abstract: An exciter element for generating or measuring mechanical movements with an exciter and a receptacle for an object under test and with an electrical inter-face for transmitting the excitation or measurement data and a method for producing such an exciter element, performs reliable measurement or generation in the event of mechanical movements above 100 kHz up to a few megahertz and permits both “out-of-plane” and “in-plane” movements or rotations of the DUT. A flat piezo composite, which is known per se, with a first face lying transverse to the direction of the plate thickness, a second face spaced apart from the first face by the thickness of the plate and lying parallel to the first face, and with rod-shaped piezo elements extending between the first and second face, is used as an exciter.

  • Publication number: 20100121630
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include an electronic translation system employing a language-independent central representation of language to be translated. The system may include a language parser to translate to the language-independent representation, and a renderer to translate from the representation to a desired language supported by the system. In an embodiment, users of the translation system can add or modify their own languages.

  • Publication number: 20070273361
Abstract: An input by-pass circuit for a current probe has first and second switches coupled between current probe inputs and current sensing circuit inputs. A switch control is coupled to the switching circuit for selectively coupling and decoupling the current probe inputs to the current sensing circuit such that the current signal continuously flows in the device under test.

  • Publication number: 20070257663
Abstract: A current sensing circuit has a transformer where a current to be measured induces a magnetic flux into a magnetic core. The magnetic core has a magneto-electric converter for sensing DC to low frequency current signals and a secondary winding for sensing higher frequency current signals. The magneto-electric converter generates an output that is coupled via an amplifier to a non-inverting input of a transimpedance amplifier. The inverting input of the transimpedance amplifier is coupled to the secondary winding of the transformer. A current signal path having a transimpedance resistor couples the inverting input to the output of the transimpedance amplifier. The transimpedance amplifier functions as a power amplifier for coupling a nulling current to the transformer for DC to low frequency current signals and functions as a transimpedance gain amplifier for higher frequency signals.

  • Publication number: 20070257657
Abstract: A current probing system has a current probe and a detachable adapter. The current probe has a probe body with electrically conductive contacts that mate with electrically conductive contacts on the adapter. Leads extend from the adapter for coupling to a current carrying conductor. The leads can connect to a plug that is coupled to a current diverting device for coupling a current signal to the current probe. The adapter may also include a switch that selectively couples the current signal to the current probe when the adapter is mated with the current probe. The contacts of the current probe are coupled to a current sensing circuit which generates a voltage output representative of the current signal. The voltage output is coupled to an oscilloscope via an electrical cable.

  • Publication number: 20070257662
Abstract: A current probe for acquiring a current signal from a current carrying conductor via a current diverting element has a probe body and first and second electrically conductive contacts extending from one end of the probe body for connecting to current diverting element. A current sensing circuit is coupled to the first and second electrically conductive contacts for generating an output signal representative of the current flowing in the current carrying conductor. An electrically conductive cable is coupled to receive the output signal from the current sensing device and extends from the other end of the probe body for coupling to an oscilloscope.

  • Publication number: 20070257661
Abstract: A current probing system for acquiring a current signal from a current carrying conductor has a current diverting element mounted on the conductor for serially coupling the current signal to a current probe. The current probe has a probe body and first and second electrically conductive contacts extending from one end of the probe body for connecting to the current diverting element.

  • Publication number: 20070143638
Abstract: An accessory device voltage management system includes an accessory device selectively coupled to a host. The host provides a bulk power supply and a low power supply voltage to the accessory device. The host receives accessory device parameters from the device and determines if the accessory device is a valid and supported device and, if so, sends commands to the accessory device to couple the bulk power supply voltage to a power supply circuit in the accessory device. The power supply circuit in the accessory device generates at least a first regulated voltage output.

  • Patent number: 5657621
Abstract: A device which takes cut alfalfa laying in a field and turns it into a plurality of pressed cubes. A water spray conditions the cut alfalfa to have the right moisture content for subsequent processing. A pick up station delivers the alfalfa off of the ground and feeds it to an auger and paddle area for subsequent conveyance to a chopping station where the alfalfa is comminuted to the appropriate length. Thereafter, the chopped alfalfa is conveyed into a press where the cubes of alfalfa are formed by extrusion. Conveyors allow the formed cubes to be placed in a trailer hitched to the vehicle. By providing a vehicle which processes the alfalfa in the field, enhanced quality of the alfalfa cubes and efficiency results.
