  • Patent number: 7011514
Abstract: Apparatus for removing and/or placing a workpiece from or into an injection mold of an injection molding machine includes a fixed platen and a moving platen which have attached thereon respective half-molds. A toothed rack is firmly connected to the fixed platen and engages with a drive pinion of a globoid cam gear which is disposed on the moving platen or attached half-mold and has an output shaft for attachment of a gripper arm. To prevent the gripper arm from moving into an undesired position, when the injection mold is opened beyond a predefined distance, the toothed rack and the fixed platen are connected through the intervention of a detachable coupling, whereby a release mechanism is provided to disengage the coupling when a distance between the fixed and moving platens exceeds a predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20050160616
Abstract: A multi-format spindle transport device for transporting and cooling flat substrates, in particular data carriers that can be optically read includes four spindles arranged in parallel relationship in a spindle holder, and a drive for rotating the spindles. The spindle holder is configured in such a way that the relative spatial arrangement of the spindles in relation to one another can be adjusted, so that substrates of different formats can be engaged simultaneously by all four spindles.

  • Patent number: 6106012
Abstract: A deflection fitting for seat belts of vehicles, particularly motor vehicles, is held in position via a fastening screw. A head section of the fastening screw and at least a partial area of the deflection fitting is covered by a cap in the direction of the occupant compartment. In the event of a head impact of a vehicle occupant onto the deflection fitting or onto the head section of the fastening screw, the risk of injury is reduced by a hollow-body-shaped deformation element disposed between the fastening screw and the cap, which is made of thin-wall sheet metal.

  • Patent number: 6095593
Abstract: An energy-absorbing covering for a body column of a motor vehicle includes on an area situated in the occupant compartment a covering part and an energy-absorbing element, which is arranged between the body column and the covering part. The energy-absorbing element is formed by a hollow-space-bounding support made of sheet metal. So that a lateral bending-away of the energy-absorbing element is avoided even if the energy-absorbing element is acted upon in an unfavorable direction, while the energy-absorbing covering has a construction which is easy to mount, and, in addition, rattling noises in the driving operation are avoided, it is provided that the energy-absorbing element is connected on the side facing the body column at least in areas with a profiled holding rail which, in sections, rests on the body column and is locally fixedly connected with it. The covering part, which is arranged at a distance in front of the energy-absorbing element, is fastened locally to the holding rail or to the body column.
