Patent number: 9259298Abstract: Dental implant system for mounting a dental superstructure is disclosed. Enossal, gingival, transgingival sections plus implant head are integrated into a single-piece implant body. The enossal and gingival sections have geometries derived from diagnostic patient data and, thus, correspond geometrically precisely to the shape of the patient's jawbone and the drilled implant cavity, completely filling those portions of the cavity. The superstructure covers the entire surface of the implant head, filling out the rest of the cavity. The surface structure of the dental implant has no gaps in it and portions of it are textured so as to facilitate complete fusing of tissue to implant, thereby preventing formation of gum pockets. Sections of the dental implant are rotationally asymmetrical, so as to ensure proper location of the implant in the cavity and prevent rotation. The construction of the implant also prevents the occurrence of micro-movements.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2012Date of Patent: February 16, 2016Inventors: Michael Menzel, Henning Roerup, Konstantinos Arapoglou

Patent number: 9233624Abstract: The present invention relates to a method (30) for actuating an electric machine (14) in the motor starting mode by means of a power electronic system (10), in particular for application in a motor vehicle, wherein the power electronic system (10) has a multiplicity of controllable power switches which are designed to supply the electric machine (14) with electric current (l_s), wherein a total amount of energy (50) which is required to reach a predefined rotational speed (n_crit) and a time period (t—0) for reaching the predefined rotational speed (n_crit) is estimated (38), wherein a setpoint torque (M) for starting the electric machine (14) is determined (42) on the basis of the estimated total amount of energy (50) and the estimated time (t—0), and wherein the power electronic system (10) is actuated (46) in accordance with the setpoint torque (M).Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2012Date of Patent: January 12, 2016Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Sven Ahlgrimm, Markus Peter, Michael Menzel

Patent number: 8862344Abstract: A clutch actuator and to a method for the control thereof. The actuator actuates a multi-disk clutch, and to do so has actuator modules. The number of which corresponds to the number of the friction clutches. The modules have separate control units and electric motors, which are controlled by the control units and act on the friction clutches by a disengaging mechanism. In order to counter block the partial drive trains disposed downstream of the friction clutches, particularly automatically closed friction clutches during a malfunction of an actuator module, the actuator modules are connected among each other to a data line, which allows monitoring of the actuator modules and counter-measures.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2010Date of Patent: October 14, 2014Assignee: Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KGInventors: Martin Zimmermann, Matthias Gramann, Juergen Gerhart, Martin Rapp, Wolfgang Hill, Michael Menzel, Wai-Wai Buchet
