  • Publication number: 20110221700
Abstract: A mutual capacitance touch screen with electrodes arranged on dual conductive material films, which comprises an upper electrode film and a lower electrode film, and the two electrode films respectively comprise an electrode plane made of transparent conductive materials and an insulated plane made of transparent insulating materials. The insulated planes of the two electrode films are fused together. Lower electrode plates are arranged on the electrode plane of the lower electrode film separately, and shielding electrode plates are arranged in the clearance between the lower electrode plates. Therefore, the lower electrode plates and the shielding electrode plates are distributed to the whole electrode plane of the lower electrode film. The touch screen of the present invention can isolate interference from the display screen in the conditions that the thickness is not increased and the shielding electrode film is not required to be arranged individually.

  • Publication number: 20110007030
Abstract: Ultrathin mutual capacitance touch screen and combined ultrathin touch screen composed by the said ultrathin mutual capacitance touch screen, the said ultrathin mutual capacitance touch screen comprises driving electrode clusters and sensing electrode clusters, wherein the driving electrode clusters are connected with an excitation signal source arranged outside the touch screen, and the sensing electrode clusters are connected with a sensing control module arranged outside the touch screen. The driving electrode clusters comprise tabulate driving electrodes which are made of transparent conductive materials and connected in series and/or in parallel, and the sensing electrode clusters comprise tabulate sensing electrodes which are made of transparent conductive materials and connected in series and/or in parallel.

  • Publication number: 20100110038
Abstract: A mutual capacitance touch screen and a combined mutual capacitance touch screen formed by the combination of mutual capacitance touch screens. A driving layer and a sensor layer are included, wherein the driving layer comprises driving electrodes distributed at intervals in the same plane; the sensor layer comprises sense electrodes distributed at intervals in the same plane; and the places where the sense electrodes are distributed in the sensor layer are just over against the intervals between the driving electrodes in the driving layer so that the driving electrodes and the sense electrodes together fill the touch area of the touch screen.

  • Publication number: 20100115012
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for defining content at the point of purchase of a digital display device (“DDD”), such as a digital picture frame, and for managing content for the DDD. These methods may include the following steps of: defining content for a DDD by a first DDD content provider at a point of purchase; associating a frame content ID with the defined content; and programming the DDD of the DDD with the frame content ID prior to shipping of the DDD.

  • Patent number: 7498955
Abstract: A system is disclosed in which a geographic area of interest can be selected, and photographic images of the selected area can be downloaded and displayed by a user in an efficient and timely manner. The geographic area of interest may initially be selected by various input means such as a map, longitude/latitude coordinates, a global positioning system (GPS), and the like. Once the particular geographic area has been selected, photographic images corresponding to the selected area are downloaded to the user. The photographic images may be stored in a suitable data storage system such as a server. Alternatively, the photographic image data may be generated real time and downloaded to the user. In one embodiment, a relatively low resolution image of a large geographic area is initially displayed to the user, and the user can then select a limited region of the image for closer viewing.

Abstract: A system is disclosed in which a geographic area of interest can be selected, and information corresponding to the selected area can be downloaded and displayed by a user in an efficient and timely manner. The geographic area of interest may initially be selected by various input means such as a map, longitude/latitude coordinates, a global positioning system (GPS), and the like. Once the particular geographic area has been selected, geographic information corresponding to the selected area is downloaded to the user. The geographic information may include photographic images, radar, radio transmission, cell phone transmission, time sequenced images, ground moving target information, air moving target information, maritime moving target information, red or blue force identification and/or potential hazard areas information. The geographic information may be stored in a suitable data storage system such as a server. Alternatively, the geographic information may be generated real time and downloaded to the user.
