  • Publication number: 20070233769
Abstract: Montgomery multiplication can be computed quickly by using carry save adders and parallel multipliers. We present an enhanced technique for very fast Montgomery multiplication that can be used for RSA calculations. This invention utilizes a scalable bit word implementation, suitable for very large bit encryptions. Such designs can be deployed on mid-level FPGAs that have dedicated multiplier logic, on ASICs, or on custom circuits. To our knowledge, our technique yields some of the fastest RSA encryption times to be reported, having area requirements similar to related work. Such circuits can be ideal for increased security in sensitive communication fields.

  • Publication number: 20060168708
Abstract: Embodiments of a shade cap are disclosed herein. In general, the cap may include a crown with a pair of side regions and a bill extending from a front region of the crown. The cap may further include a pair of ear shades with each ear shade having an inner side coupled to an associated side region of the crown with the inner side of each ear shade positioned above a bottom edge of the crown so that the inner side is spaced above the bottom edge of the crown. Each ear shade may also be positionable between a lowered position and a raised position. When positioned in the lowered position, each ear shade may cover an upper portion of a wearer's ear. When positioned in the raised position, an outer side of the respective ear shade may be located adjacent the associated side region of the crown and above the inner side of that ear shade. Embodiments of the cap may further include a neck flap detachably coupled to a back region of the crown.

  • Patent number: 6488232
Abstract: Disclosed is a single passenger aircraft configured to vertically take-off and land. An airframe is configured to support the passenger in an upright position during take-off and landing and during flight. The aircraft includes a pair of propulsion devices that are mounted on an airframe above the level of the pilot. A set of hand operated control devices are mechanically linked to the propulsion devices for varying the orientation of the propulsion devices during flight.

  • Publication number: 20020113165
Abstract: A vertical takeoff aircraft uses ducted fans for lift and propulsion. The fans are attached to an airframe and are disposed on opposite lateral sides of the aircraft. The thrust from the each of the fans may be deflected in different directions by using vanes with flaps disposed within the ducts of the fans, as well as by tilting the entire fan assemblies. This deflection of the thrust of each of the fans is used to provide control authority in pitch, roll and yaw for the aircraft under the control of a fly-by-wire system.
