Abstract: A message server makes an automated dialing service available to remote client systems. The message server receives calling information from remote client systems through a network connection—identifying a set of telephone numbers, corresponding names, and a campaign identifier in one embodiment. The message server creates one or more calling packets, based on the calling information. The message server sends the calling packets to an automated dialer, which employs the information in the packets to make telephone calls and deliver the specified campaign. In one example, a calling packet includes the telephone numbers, corresponding names, and corresponding campaign identifier. In further embodiments, the message server also maintains and reports call related statistics to remote client systems.
