  • Publication number: 20240224452
Abstract: A heads-up display includes an enclosure that includes electronics to operate the heads-up display and a visor attached to the enclosure. The heads-up display further includes a screen attached to the visor and the enclosure; and a cover assembly that is secured to the enclosure. The cover assembly includes a cap that seals the enclosure and includes at least opening; a hydrophobic membrane that prevents moisture from entering the enclosure through the at least one opening while permitting air to enter and exit the enclosure through the opening in the cap. An insert is secured to the cap and a valve is secured to the insert. The valve includes an inlet valve secured to the insert and an outlet valve secured to the insert such that the inlet valve allows air to flow into the enclosure and the outlet valve allows air to flow out of the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 11755200
Abstract: Techniques for adjusting a posture of an operating system mode for a touch-enabled computing device based on combinations of user preferences and user input modality signals. Various adjustments to the posture of the operating system mode do not impact whether particular user interface elements are present but rather alter characteristics with which these particular user interface elements are rendered. Posture adjustments to an operating system mode occur based on combinations user input modality signals and user preferences not to enter another mode in which particular user interface elements are no longer displayed within a task bar along a peripheral edge. An object of designing an operating system mode to have multiple different postures with common user interface elements displayed in the task bar while adjusting the characteristics thereof is to preserve the user familiarity across postures while optimizing graphical layouts to accommodate for a current user input modality.

  • Publication number: 20230277948
Abstract: A fantasy sports management system provides an interaction between fantasy sports and real-time sporting events. In embodiments, the system receives real-time statistical information regarding a plurality of sports players participating in one or more real-time sporting events. The sports players are assigned to teams in a fantasy sports league. The system outputs, on a display of a device of one of the users of the fantasy sports league, the real-time statistical information of the plurality of sports players that are on the user’s roster of sports players. In response to the real-time statistical information of one of the sports players on the user’s roster exceeding a threshold (e.g., the team of the one of the sports players entering the “red zone”), the system provides the user with an option to view the real-time sporting event in which the one player is participating in.

  • Patent number: 11633762
Abstract: An adjustable roll sizer for sorting objects of different sizes includes a first set of rollers mounted to a support structure and arranged in a first parallel array. A second set of rollers is mounted to the support structure in a second parallel array that is interleaveably alignable with the first parallel array. Means for automatic control are provided for misaligning the second parallel array from the first parallel array to vary gap width between adjacent rollers. Each roller in the second parallel array may also be tapered to vary gap width as a function of roller length. Rollers may include helical ridges for urging objects along the gaps.

  • Publication number: 20220398306
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage mediums described herein enable a dashboard panel application to make “widgets” available to a user on a computing device that provide application functionality without corresponding applications having to be installed on the computing device, and without the use of a conventional web browser. Configuration information is accessed that identifies a plurality of widgets selected for display in a dashboard panel of a dashboard panel application. Account credentials for the widgets are transmitted to corresponding server-hosted services at network addresses indicated in manifests of the widgets. Data associated with the widgets is received from the server-hosted services. A view of the dashboard panel is composed that includes a view of the widgets incorporating the received data. The dashboard panel view is caused to be rendered on the base graphical canvas.

  • Publication number: 20200301153
Abstract: A Near-Eye-Display (NED) device having a housing shell that is integrated with molded boss clusters for precision mounting of hardware components. The techniques disclosed herein include forming a housing shell directly over one or more pre-molded boss clusters that have been inserted into cavities of a housing shell mold core. For example, with the pre-molded boss clusters already inserted into the cavities, a selected housing shell material such as a thermosetting epoxy resin impregnated carbon fiber reinforced (CFRP) fabric may be thermal compression molded over the housing shell mold core. Individual ones of the pre-molded boss clusters include one or more “three-dimensional (3D)” bosses for mounting various hardware components of the NED device. The bosses may protrude from an inner surface of the housing shell and may provide interior mounting features without affecting the appearance of the outer surface of the housing shell.

  • Patent number: 10759059
Abstract: A system automatically loads a bin with a filled deformable container such as a sack of produce being conveyed along horizontal rollers. A movable support structure has a coupling end attachable to a robotic arm, and a lifting end supporting a plurality of parallel rods. By means of the robotic arm and a programmable logic controller, the plurality of parallel rods can be positioned between and parallel to the horizontal rollers, raised when the container is conveyed to a loading position above the parallel rods, moved to a predetermined position above the bin, and rotated to allow the container to slide downward along the parallel rods and into the bin under force of gravity. The loading sequence can be repeated a number of times, changing the predetermined position each time to stack a plurality of the containers in a desired configuration such as overlapping rows of offset sacks.
