Abstract: The invention disclosed provides an improved sun towel with added features to be used by beachgoers, picnickers, and the like. The topside comprised of soft pile terrycloth to provide comfort and absorbance, and the backside comprised of a polyurethane film backing to repel moisture from underneath. The sun towel is round in shape, and comes equipped with built-in pockets sewn in between the top-side of towel and backing; fit to encapsulate removable waterproof storage pouches. Built-in grommets allow the towel to be secured into the ground with plastic spikes. The towel can be rolled and folded to fit into any carry-all.
