Abstract: An electric heating device includes at least two hollow profile elements which form a fluid channel for a fluid to be heated and, opposite the fluid channel, a heating chamber which is bounded by opposite contact surfaces against which at least one PTC element abuts in a heat-conducting manner. A scalable and easier to assemble electric heating device is achieved by connecting the hollow profile elements to one another by complementary form-fit segments.
