  • Publication number: 20150375253
Abstract: A device for the wet treatment of flat substrates (S1, S2) by wetting the underside with fluid, wherein the device contains at least one wetting station (BA, BB) with at least one wetting roll (WA, WB) for wetting the underside of the substrates to be treated and moved in a transporting direction (TR) over the treatment roller with fluid, and also a roller transport system which has a plurality of transport rollers (T1 to T7, WA, WB), arranged one after another in a spaced apart manner in the transporting direction, including the at least one wetting roll, for transporting the substrates to be treated and resting on the transport rollers in the transporting direction. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of such a device for the wet treatment of substrates. The wetting roll is arranged at a height (Hm) which is higher by a predetermined height offset (?HA) than a height (Hu) which is defined by a section, adjoining the supply side of the wetting roll, of the roller transport system.
