    Abstract: A flexible, plush lighting apparatus that can be bent and twisted such that at least a portion of the apparatus can be wrapped about a person's body or a support structure. The lighting apparatus includes a flexible shaft that may be twisted or otherwise manipulated into various shapes. A decorative cover resembling a plush stuffed toy animal may cover the shaft of the lighting apparatus. The flexible shaft is attached to a lighting unit common in the art having a light bulb, a reflector, a focusing lens and one or more batteries. The lighting unit is disposed within an opening formed in the decorative cover. The flexible shaft of the lighting apparatus comprises an inner, flexible core, enclosed within a resilient, soft, flexible sleeve.
