Abstract: A heater, especially for mobile applications, is provided which includes a burner for burning a liquid fuel, an atomizer nozzle located on the burner for atomizing the liquid fuel into extremely fine fuel droplets, and a fuel supply for feeding the liquid fuel to the atomizer nozzle. A heating means is provided on the atomizer nozzle with which the liquid fuel can be vaporized before and/or during its emergence from the atomizer nozzle.

Abstract: A device for air conditioning of a motor vehicle interior, with a refrigerant circuit which has a compressor (21), a condenser (22) and at least one evaporator (30), with a heat exchange medium circuit which has at least one heat source (engine 10, auxiliary vehicle heater 14) and at least one heat exchanger (12, 17). To simplify the system and to accelerate the response behavior when heating and cooling, it is provided that there an evaporator (30) of the refrigerant circuit and a heat exchanger (17) of the heat exchange medium circuit are both located in a reservoir (33) which is suited for selective storage of both heat and cold.

Abstract: A fuel supply system for an auxiliary vehicle heating device to which fuel can be supplied via the fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine. A fuel storage reservoir is provided which supplies fuel to an auxiliary vehicle device, and is arranged in the engine compartment of the vehicle. The storage reservoir is filled with fuel in a batchwise manner from any vehicle-contained fuel supply source, preferably via an elongated slot opening into a fuel receiving space of the reservoir from a fuel line that is in bypassing relationship to the reservoir. The fuel storage reservoir has a ventilating value leading to the atmosphere. In accordance with one aspect of the inventive concept, the fuel storage reservoir can receive a fuel pump which forwards the fuel from the fuel storage reservoir to the auxiliary heating device, so that the pump and reservoir form a single-part unit.

Abstract: A system for supplying motor vehicle diesel engines with fuel, having a fuel circulation system with a fuel supply pipe leading from a fuel tank, via at least one fuel filter, to an injection pump driven by the diesel engine; a fuel return pipe leading back to the fuel tank; a fuel-circulating pump that can be driven electrically and is not dependent on the operation of the diesel engine; and a heat exchanger for causing heat exchange between the fuel flowing through the fuel supply pipe and a liquid heat-transfer medium. Also, when the diesel engine is stopped, the fuel-circulating pump can be driven from an on-board power source. The fuel circulation system is arranged in such a way that, when the fuel-circulating pump is in operation, it is flushed by circulated fuel throughout its full length. An auxiliary heater located in the fuel circulation system may be used as a source of heat for the heat exchanger, as well as the vehicle interior, when the engine is not operating.
