  • Patent number: 9415185
Abstract: The invention relates to an indwelling catheter in particular an intravenous indwelling catheter for emergency treatment. The catheter comprises a housing and a puncturing cannula, which can be introduced into and removed from the housing interior in the longitudinal direction of the housing and which extends through a front housing opening, in such a way that when the cannula is fully introduced, an entry opening is located outside the housing. A collection component stores a blood sample, the component being held in a displaceable manner on the housing with the aid of a fixing element and being displaced between a coupled position, in which a self-filling reservoir, which is configured in the collection component, is in contact with an exit opening of the cannula in order to receive a sample of blood that traverses the cannula and an uncoupled position, in which the reservoir is separated from the exit opening of the cannula and the collection component is held on the housing by the fixing element.

  • Patent number: 9232914
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an indwelling catheter having a cannula device (2, 4) and a reservoir, which is connected in a use position to the cannula device (2, 4), such that blood can flow from the cannula device (2, 4) into the reservoir (6), wherein the housing (3) has housing identifiers (8) and the reservoir (6) has reservoir identifiers (9), and the housing identifiers (8) and the reservoir identifiers (9) give mutually assigned codes. In addition, the disclosure relates to a transfusion cannula kit and the method for testing a transfusion system.

  • Publication number: 20110046609
Abstract: An indwelling catheter made of a shape memory material with shape memory properties, so that the indwelling catheter comprises a first shape below a transition temperature and a second shape above the transition temperature, wherein the indwelling catheter comprises lamellas separate from one another in circumferential direction at its distal end, which lamellas extend in a longitudinal direction of the catheter below the transition temperature and are bent in outward direction above the transition temperature.

  • Patent number: 4094372
Abstract: A skateboard comprises a rider's platform having pairs of front and rear wheels mounted thereunder. Front wheels are mounted for limited universal movement relative to the platform whereas the rear wheels are mounted under the platform solely for vertical pivot movements about a pivot axis disposed in a vertically disposed plane which intersects the longitudinal axis of the skateboard. A bracket is attached to the rear wheel mounting and has a motor secured thereon for selectively driving only one of the rear wheels via a stepped-down drive train and a centrifugally actuated clutch. A normally open kill-switch is mounted on a throttle control adapted to be grasped by a rider whereby a magneto of the engine may be grounded to stop the engine when desired.
