Abstract: An approach is provided for generating composite media and delivering the composite media to a client application. Data is received from one or more external sources, and a portion of the data is selected to be used in the composite media according to the time period of delivery of the client application, user information, or the type of client application requesting the media, if a request has been made. The selected data is integrated into a pre-created template to generate the composite media, such as an advertisement, special offers, or weather and stock information. The composite media may be modified prior to being delivered to the client application. The selection of the pre-created template and the modification of the composite media are made according to requirements of the client application, user information, or the type of client application (e.g., gaming application) requesting the media.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for adding a secondary content to a display with underutilized space are provided. If a primary content, such as a movie, does not fill the entire display then the display includes underutilized space. The dimensions and location of underutilized space, if any, is determined using the characteristics of the display and the primary content. Secondary content, such as advertisements, may then be displayed in the underutilized space.

Abstract: Streamable content, including content such as music, video, and advertisements, is provided to a game program executing at a remote computing device or game console, wherein the streamable content is for presentation before, during, and/or after game play. The streamable content may be supplemental to core game content provided by the game program. A system for providing the streamable content may include a content accessing component configured to access content for use as streamable content, a content selection component configured to select appropriate content (which may be randomly selected, or selected based on user-specific information or game-specific information), a content assembly component configured to assemble selected content into one or more content streams, and/or a content dissemination component configured to disseminate one or more content streams to the remote computing device or game console on which game program is executing.
