  • Patent number: 10758833
Abstract: Four embodiments or variations of launcher apparatus storing either one toy car, two toy cars, eight toy cars or ten toy cars are disclosed. As a safety feature a flex member is used to block toys or other objects that are not properly configured to deflect the flex member. If the flex member is not deflected and the object inserted will not push an ejector rearward from a relaxed position to a cocked position. When a proper toy is inserted, the ejector moves rearward and stretches a spring that supplies launch energy to the ejector and the toy. The flex member is also designed to allow the ejector to deflect the flex member when the ejector is snapped back from the cocked position to the relaxed position. A safety lock is mounted to the housing for preventing operation of the trigger mechanism when the launcher apparatus is not disposed on a surface.

  • Patent number: 10750863
Abstract: A drawer system includes a primary drawer and a concealed drawer. The concealed drawer is concealed in a space under the floor of the primary drawer, between the lower portions of the sidewall of primary drawer. The primary drawer moves with the concealed drawer in a locked state to maintain the concealed drawer in the concealed state, and the concealed drawer moves independently from the primary drawer in the unlocked state to allow the concealed drawer to extend from the primary drawer, thereby allowing access to the concealed drawer.

  • Patent number: 10648765
Abstract: A large capacity magazine apparatus for spherical projectiles, such as toy foam balls that may be used in conjunction with a launcher. The magazine includes drum and clip housings and a rotatable sprocket with longitudinal flutes that together form a smooth pathway for the foam balls to travel in the magazine and to alleviate jams. The smooth pathway includes a helical path, a transition path and a linear path within the housings. A constant force spring provides a rotational force for the sprocket and a plurality of articulated rigid balls function to push the foam balls out of the magazine and into a firing chamber of the launcher.

  • Patent number: 9958230
Abstract: A rapid fire toy dart launch apparatus employing a feeding/anti-jamming mechanism including a simply yet unique continuous belt that penetrates a dart magazine releasing each dart from the magazine and simultaneously employing protrusion elements at the belt advancing each released dart into an energy generating mechanism for rapidly firing darts from the toy apparatus without mis-fed darts jamming up in the launcher.

  • Patent number: 9933219
Abstract: Crossbows having two trigger safety locks. Operatively connected to a trigger is a trigger lock element that in one position prevents the trigger from moving. To prevent inadvertent contact between a cocking slide and a released stretched cord of the crossbow, a slide lock element engages the trigger lock element until the slide lock element is disengaged by the cocking slide moving out of the way. To prevent an improperly configured projectile from being discharged a projectile lock element engages the trigger lock element until a properly configured projectile is loaded onto a drum causing the projectile lock element to disengage from the trigger lock element.

  • Patent number: 9513075
Abstract: Several embodiments of toy dart launch apparatus are disclosed including two crossbows with stretchable cords, a spring driven apparatus and an apparatus with battery operated rotatable wheels. Each apparatus includes an open top drum for receiving and storing darts. The darts are tubular and formed of soft foam. The drum includes an open outer surface with spaced recesses so that loaded darts are exposed, the darts being received by a spike in each recess. The recesses also include protrusions for restraining the stored darts on the spike, and a platform is mounted in the crossbows to support each dart when the released stretched cord impacts the dart. In the case of a rotating wheel arrangement, there is no need for spikes on drum or a platform.

  • Publication number: 20150083101
Abstract: A toy launch apparatus with a safety valve. The safety valve includes a stationary valve component with a tubular shape and an open inlet end. Ports in the tubular component help define an air path from the open inlet through the ports. A slideable valve component including a sleeve portion and extending fingers slides along an outer surface of the stationary valve component. A valve spring biases the slideable valve component forward to close the ports and when a dart is loaded, a back wall of the dart pushes the extending fingers of slideable valve component rearward to open the ports. In the open position the slideable valve component is out of the air path such that no pressure drop is attributed to the slideable valve component. When the dart is discharge, the valve spring biases the slideable valve component forward to close the ports.

  • Patent number: 8875688
Abstract: An improved safety valve for a toy air gun apparatus in which the toy air gun includes a piston and a drive spring mounted in a grip portion of the air gun. A handle extends from the bottom of the grip portion and is manipulated by the user to cock the air gun by compressing the drive spring. When the user pull a trigger the piston is released and surges upward because of the expanding drive spring. A valve element located to the rear of a barrel section of the air gun receives a blast of compressed air in a direction lateral to the longitudinal axis of the valve element and lateral to valve element movement between an open, rearward position and a closed, forward position.

  • Publication number: 20130300925
Abstract: A display system is disclosed that is capable of switching between graphics processing units (GPUs). Some embodiments may include a display system, including a display, a timing controller (T-CON) coupled to the display, the T-CON including a plurality of receivers, and a plurality of GPUs, where each GPU is coupled to at least one of the plurality of receivers, and where the T-CON selectively couples only one of the plurality of GPUs to the display at a time.

  • Patent number: 8567378
Abstract: An air path and improved safety valve combination for toy air guns including a housing in the shape of a gun, multiple barrels mounted to the housing, a piston, cylinder and spring combination for generating blasts of compressed air mounted to the housing, an air passageway structure with an air path channel mounted in the housing, and multiple valve elements movable in the air path channel between open rearward positions and closed forward positions. When in the rearward position, each valve element directs a blast of compressed air to an associated barrel because the barrel is loaded with a soft foam dart of proper shape. When the valve element is in a forward position indicating an empty barrel, the valve element causes the blasts of compressed air to cascade to the next valve element of a dart-loaded barrel in sequence and in a very efficient manner.

  • Patent number: 8567380
Abstract: An air gun toy which has a housing mounting a cylinder and a piston for compressing air to cause foam darts to be discharged. The air gun includes the piston, a first connector pivotally connecting a first link to the piston, a second connector pivotally connecting the first link to a second link, a third connector pivotally connecting the second link to housing, a main spring and a trigger. When the piston reaches its forward position, the first, second and third connectors align in a linear configuration, like a toggle joint, to brace the piston and prevent piston bounce back.
