  • Patent number: 8133426
Abstract: An injection molding process and apparatus are described in which a workpiece is formed using an injection molding tool. The mold composed of a cavity formed by a core and a plurality of cavity sides, wherein the workpiece has a plurality of undercut features formed in notches within the core. The injection molding method includes flexing sections of the workpiece apart from each other to at least partially separate the workpiece from the core.

  • Patent number: 5575478
Abstract: A gaming apparatus which utilizes a wall into which is to be propelled by a human user a ball which is to be rebounded proximate to the user. Formed within the contact surface of the wall are a plurality of hiatuses located in a spaced-apart manner whose function are when struck by the ball to rebound the ball at various directions while still being proximate to the user. Mounted within the wall are a plurality of lenses with there being a light mounted within each lens. Electrically connected to each light is an accelerometer with there being a separate accelerometer mounted on each lens. The accelerometers and lights are electrically connected to a microprocessor which is to be preprogrammed with a particular game that is to be played by the user. The microprocessor is connected to a scoreboard which is to display the results of the game to the user.

  • Patent number: 4381426
Abstract: Several embodiments of reduced crosstalk ribbon cable having alternating twisted and straight sections of indefinite length are disclosed, crosstalk being reduced by differing starting positions of alternate twisted pairs, differing lay of alternate twisted pairs, and variation in lay along the length of alternate twisted pairs. A preferred embodiment uses offset starting positions, and a lay in alternate twisted pairs substantially longer than that of adjacent pairs, becoming shorter to minimize the nontwisted portion resulting from the time to bring adjacent pairs into planar alignment. An apparatus for making such cable is also disclosed, having several wire supply twisters and several second twisters, removing the twist inserted by the wire supply twisters while forming twisted pair ribbon cable sections, allowing indefinitely long twisted sections. Twisters are provided in two groups operating in opposite directions, preventing curl of the cable.
