  • Publication number: 20250091717
Abstract: A repositionable pocket for an aircraft having a rigid pocket wall pivotally attached to the aircraft sidewall and at least one strap assembly connecting the pocket to the sidewall. The strap assembly has a first end fixable to the sidewall and a second end repositionably fastened to the pocket. The strap is preferably made to be elastic and urges the attached pocket into a closed orientation thereby securing any stowed items between the pocket and the aircraft sidewall. Strap adjustability accommodates different sized objects for stowage.

  • Patent number: 12251097
Abstract: A multiple-firing clip device includes a hollow shaft defining a lateral opening communicating with an environment and a distal shaft portion between the lateral opening and a distal end opening. A shuttle longitudinally moves on the shaft and comprises a shuttle body defining a lumen surrounding the shaft, a snare, and a snare-extender slide defining a snare track to form a snare travel path in which the snare is disposed from the body and through the track and a portion of the body. The slide moves along a given extent defining a slide distance and a distal end and movement of the slide to the distal end shortens the snare travel path to extend the snare portion through the lateral opening, through the distal shaft portion, and distally out from a distal side of the body longer than the given extent to secure a suture with the snare.

  • Patent number: 12225050
Abstract: Distribution and management of services in virtual environments is described herein. In one or more implementations, a service distribution and management model is implemented in which system services and applications are seamlessly distributed across multiple containers which each implement a different runtime environment. In one or more implementations, a system for distributing access to services in a host operating system of a computing device includes a host operating system configured to implement a host runtime environment, and one or more services implemented by the host operating system. The system further includes a service control manager configured to enable communication between a client stub of a service implemented in a client runtime environment and a service provider of the service that is implemented in a service runtime environment that is separate from the first client runtime environment.

  • Publication number: 20250042925
Abstract: The present disclosure provides compounds of formula (I?) and uses thereof for the treatment of cancer. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions and kits comprising the same compounds. The present compounds may have improved anti-tumor effect and reduced toxicity and may be useful for targeting mitochondria in cancer cells.

  • Patent number: 8814626
Abstract: The expanding and contracting yo-yo is a spool formed by a pair of disks connected by a narrow diameter pin having a string wound around the pin. At least one, and preferably both, of the disks has a plurality of overlapping wings (also referred to as air foils or leaves) pivotally attached to the periphery of the outer face of the disk. A biasing member causes the wings to remain in a closed dome configuration until the disks begin to spin. When the yo-yo is dropped and pulled back in, centrifugal force, centripetal force, alternate lift and drag of air flow, and resilient bias cause the wings to alternately pivot and unfold outward, followed by pivoting inward to a dome shape. In an alternative embodiment, the wings may be formed with a resilient living hinge that permits the wings to expand and contract against the body of the yo-yo.

  • Publication number: 20100112894
Abstract: The expanding and contracting yo-yo is a spool formed by a pair of disks connected by a narrow diameter pin having a string wound around the pin. At least one, and preferably both, of the disks has a plurality of overlapping wings (also referred to as air foils or leaves) pivotally attached to the periphery of the outer face of the disk. The wings are capable of expanding outward to unfold like the petals of a flower and contracting to form a dome on the outer face, similar to a closed flower bud. The yo-yo has a flexible, resilient loop attached to the inner face of the wings to bias the wings to the closed dome configuration. When the yo-yo is dropped and pulled back in, centrifugal force, centripetal force, alternate lift and drag of air flow, and resilient bias cause the wings to alternately pivot and unfold outward, followed by pivoting inward to reform the dome shape.
