  • Patent number: 10703062
Abstract: A screw press includes a press chamber in which a screw shaft is mounted such that the screw shaft is surrounded by a screen jacket and is rotatable about a screw shaft axis. The screen jacket is fastened to a screen jacket holding device including at least one beam running through the press chamber. The screen jacket is formed of a plurality of multipart screen baskets configured to receive a plurality of screen basket inserts, each multipart screen basket of the plurality of multipart screen baskets includes a semi-cylindrical first screen basket half shell and a semi-cylindrical second screen basket half shell. At least one pivot hinge is disposed between the first screen basket half shell and the second screen basket half shell. A basket lug is disposed on the first screen basket half shell and the second screen basket half shell.

  • Patent number: 10160942
Abstract: A biogas plant fermenter supply method increases total throughput of substrate through fermenter chambers while not changing the number of fermenter chambers. An inoculum fermenter chamber is supplied with raw fermentation substrate and fermenting for a dwell time, returning part of the substrate fermented in the inoculum fermenter chamber in the form of a self-inoculating substrate to the inoculum fermenter chamber by a return path, the part being mixed with the raw fermentation substrate, and supplying a fast fermenter chamber coupled to the inoculum fermenter chamber with an additional part of the substrate fermented in the inoculum fermenter chamber in the form of a fast fermenter inoculation substrate and mixing the additional part with fast fermenter raw substrate of an amount per unit of time, wherein fermented output substrate is removed from the fast fermenter chamber after a dwell time of the substrate mixture introduced into the fast fermenter chamber.

  • Publication number: 20170087788
Abstract: A screw press includes a press-chamber, wherein a screw shaft supporting thus the screw shaft surrounding by a screen-jacket and may rotate about a screw shaft axis, wherein the screen-jacket is fastened to a screen-jacket retaining device within the press-chamber and screen-jacket is formed by multi-part screen-cages having screen-cage inserts. Multi-part screen-cages are formed by two half-shells and, between at least one pivoting hinge arranging, on a bar, extending through press-chamber and arranging parallel to the pivot axis, as part of the screen-jacket retaining device and firmly connected to both half-shells. Half-shells and supported thus the half-shells pivoting in relation to each other, unhindered access to the screen-cage inserts enabling swung-open state. A cage tab is arranged on each half-shell on the side facing away from the pivoting hinge, which cage tab detachably fastening to the screen-jacket retaining device by the cage closing in the closed state of the half-shells.
