  • Patent number: 11866023
Abstract: A blow-off metering valve for a hydraulic control unit assembly of a brake system including a valve seat. The valve seat includes a wall that extends about an axis between a first end and a second end. The wall defines a passage that extends axially between the first and second ends for transmitting a fluid through the valve seat. An annular flange extends axially from the second end of the wall toward the first end of the wall and tapers radially inwardly. A blocking member is axially movable toward and away from the annular flange for selectively creating a seal at the passage. A biasing element biases the blocking member toward the annular flange. The annular flange terminates at a distal end that is radially spaced from the wall. The annular flange defines at least one flow channel that extends axially for allowing fluid to bypass the blocking member.

  • Patent number: 11813916
Abstract: An integrated air supply unit comprises a compressor housing, a pressure control unit (PCU) body, and a desiccant housing extending between the compressor housing and the PCU body. The desiccant housing defines a desiccant cavity holding a desiccant container for removing moisture from air passing therethrough. A piston is slidably disposed within a piston bore of the compressor housing. The PCU body defines a plurality of fluid passages with solenoid valves selectively controlling airflow therethrough. The integrated air supply unit may also comprise: a manifold, a discharge control valve, a compressor supplying pressurized air in a first pressurized air passage, a dryer configured to remove moisture from the pressurized air in the first pressurized air passage and to supply dried pressurized air in a second pressurized air passage, a supply control valve to control airflow between the second pressurized air passage and the manifold, and a piloted exhaust valve.

  • Publication number: 20220314728
Abstract: A hydraulic actuator for a vehicle suspension includes: a pump assembly including an electric motor coupled to first and second pumps to transfer hydraulic fluid to a discharge header; a first isolation valve having an elastomeric seat and configured to selectively block fluid flow from a port in fluid communication with a height-adjustable damper to the discharge header; and a second isolation valve having a metal seat and connected in series with the first isolation valve to selectively block fluid flow from the port to the discharge header. The first pump transfers hydraulic fluid from a supply fluid passage to a first discharge header, and the second pump transfers hydraulic fluid from the supply fluid passage to a second discharge header. A recirculation valve selectively controls fluid flow from the second discharge header to the supply fluid passage.

  • Patent number: 7226260
Abstract: The present invention provides a fastener mounting clip for use in securing a fastener to sheet material having a bore hole formed therein. The fastener mounting clip is preferably formed of a single sheet of thin spring steel. The mounting clip includes a rectilinear planar surface having opposing retainer arms extending beneath its outer edge at obtuse angles. The retaining arms are resiliently flexible and compress and expand during insertion wherein a top end of the retaining arm abuts against the sheet material when the fastener mounting clip is fully seated within the bore hole. The planar surface includes support tabs for supporting the planar surface in the plane of the sheet material and also includes a recessed aperture for receiving and retaining a fastener therein.

  • Patent number: 5259813
Abstract: The quality of the external air is determined by means of a pollutant sensor. The quality of the internal air is determined by calculation taking account of the air quantities introduced from outside into the internal space. A decision between air supply operation and air recirculation operation is then made on the basis of a comparison of the air qualities inside and outside. The pollutant sensor is preferably located in a casing whose internal space is accessible to gases through an opening which is preferably sealed by a gas-permeable membrane.

  • Patent number: 5256103
Abstract: A ventilation arrangement for the interior of a motor vehicle, having at least a heating or air-conditioning unit. The ventilation arrangement has a fan for air exchange in the interior and a filter for the adsorption of odorous and/or harmful substances contained in the air stream. The filter is designed so that, for the widest possible spectrum of odorous and/or harmful substances, a filter effect is produced which is based on rapid adsorption of the odorous and harmful substances and a gradual desorption thereof with a long time delay. A high short-term concentration of the odorous and/or harmful substances is thus converted by the filter into an extremely low but, instead, long-lasting emission which, with sufficiently extensive dilution, remains below a preset odor threshold or nuisance threshold.
