  • Publication number: 20210161349
Abstract: A cleaning head for a cleaning machine that cleans a surface includes a housing defining a bottom that faces the surface to be cleaned, and a top spaced above the bottom. A brushroll positioned near the bottom of the housing to engage the surface during operation. The brushroll is releaseably connected to the housing; the brushroll is removable in an upward direction from the top of the housing. A suction nozzle has an inlet that draws debris from the surface into the suction nozzle. The suction nozzle is releaseably connected to the housing; the suction nozzle is removable in a downward direction from the bottom of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20110226768
Abstract: A lid assembly for a storage container base with an interior storage space and an open top end. The lid assembly has a closure section positionable over the open top end of the base. The closure section has a top panel, an access opening through the top panel or formed by the top panel with the closure section installed on the storage container, and a perimeter extending around at least a portion of the closure section and being removably attachable to the base. The lid assembly also has a hub and a cover section mounted to the closure section and rotatable about the hub between a closed position covering the access opening and an open position uncovering the access opening. A transparent part of the cover section can be positioned over the access opening in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 7956297
Abstract: A water resistant scale damper has a damper sleeve with an interior passage, an open top, and an open bottom. A piston is received in and axially slidable along the interior passage and has a top surface, an underside, and a piston rod extending from the underside toward the open bottom. A top cap is fitted over the open top of the sleeve and an air chamber is created between the top cap and the top surface of the piston. An air passage is formed through the top cap to permit air to enter and exit the air chamber. A portion of the top cap can create an elongate, non-linear air channel between the air passage and a port remote from the air passage and formed through the top cap. A bottom cap can also be fitted over the open bottom of the sleeve. The bottom cap has an annular flange that extends radially inward from a skirt of the bottom cap. The flange is funnel-shaped so as to direct liquid from beneath the underside of the piston toward a central opening in the flange.

  • Patent number: 7954830
Abstract: An ice transport system includes a cart and a plurality of ice totes. The cart includes a bed and a plurality of retention structures mounted on the bed. The plurality of ice totes are arranged on a platform of the bed and contained on the platform by the plurality of retention structures. The plurality of retention structures are configured and positioned relative to the platform to contain the plurality of ice totes on the platform while leaving an access side of a plurality of sides of the platform open for loading and unloading the plurality of ice totes. In some cases, each ice tote may include a hang hook removably disposed within a recess in the exterior surface of the tote and configured to extend outward from the exterior surface.

  • Patent number: 7190311
Abstract: A retractable antenna (100) is provided that includes a body (106) having an orifice (204), a whip (104) retractably coupled to the body (106), at least one follower (200) disposed about the whip (104), and a cam (202) disposed about the orifice (204). The cam (202) is shaped such that the at least one follower (200) interacts with the cam (202) during retraction of the whip (104) so as to rotate the whip as necessary to align the whip in a rotational position that allows full retraction of the antenna. Also provided are an electronic communication device (102) that includes at least one such non-circular retractable antenna (100), and an alignment system for rotationally aligning an extendable portion of a non-circular retractable antenna (100) during retraction.
