  • Publication number: 20250061242
Abstract: Apparatus for creating an interactive user interface linked to a physical location. The apparatus is preferably a handheld smart device such as a smart phone or smart tablet with a processor and a digital storage storing programmable code. The programmable code is executable upon command to cause the smart device to generate a user interface with a representation of one or both of: architectural aspects and equipment items in the building and digital content associated with the physical location. The smart device will designate a zone on the user interface correlating with an area in the physical building, and link digital content with positional coordinates within the designated zone. If the positional coordinates indicate that the smart device is within the designated zone, the user interface on the smart device will display the architectural aspects and the equipment items and the digital content associated with the designated zone.

  • Patent number: 5899039
Abstract: A method of providing a suspended ceiling in a storage tank involves building a deck on the floor of the storage tank and raising it into place by using an external hoist mechanism. The hoist mechanism is connected to the deck by cutting holes in the roof of the tank and feeding cables through the holes. The cables are attached to a series of extenders, such as metal bars, that are fixed to lift points on the deck. The extenders are long enough so that, once the ceiling is raised to its final position, portions of the extenders project into the holes in the roof. The ceiling is then fixed in position by securing the extenders to the roof. After the ceiling is secured in position, the holes in the roof are sealed.

  • Patent number: 5231811
Abstract: A storage structure, particularly for fluids but also useful for storing solids, which in one embodiment includes at least a portion thereof comprising a structural wall having opposing sides, at least one said side having an insulating and protecting built-up layered finish covering which retards heat transfer, the passage of water vapor through the insulation and/or the condensation of water on the one said side, the built-up layered finish covering including a layer of insulation positioned on the one said side of the wall; a solid unitary vapor barrier layer applied to the outer surface of the insulation board as a viscous liquid or paste which hardens into a solid layer; a reinforced stucco basecoat layer applied onto the vapor barrier layer; and a stucco topcoat layer applied onto the stucco basecoat layer.

  • Patent number: 4333973
Abstract: Apparatus and method for depositing a bed of polymeric insulating foam on a horizontal or sloped surface. The apparatus rolls on the surface being insulated and while it moves forward, lateral bands of insulating foam are sequentially and rapidly deposited by spraying a foamable liquid from a nozzle mounted on a carriage reciprocally moving on a track on the apparatus.
